The flagship restaurant of the spectacular Lanesborough hotel, Céleste offers high-end contemporary fine dining, and was bestowed with a Michelin star in the 2017 Michelin guide. The blissful Venetian-style dining room features a domed glass ceiling, suspended chandeliers and ornate wall carvings.
Michelin-awarded Executive Chef Florian Favario, the protégé of Chef Patron Eric Frechon – who holds five Michelin stars - showcases expertise honed working at one of Paris’s best restaurants, Epicure. Weaving artful flair through the finest available ingredients, the Céleste restaurant menu includes sautéed squid with black ink porridge, native lobster with smoked broccoli purée, or wild roe deer saddle quince confit with cinnamon and celeriac and red wine sauce.
The Lanesborough’s resident dessert and pastry master, Nicolas Rouzaud, presents creations like Guanaja chocolate with caramelised cashew nut praline, chocolate mousse and roasted coffee bean ice cream, or hand-crafted sugar fig, sangria sorbet and fig leaf foam. This fairy tale space also boasts 2 luxurious wine tasting rooms, and afternoon tea at Celeste in London is a multiple-time winner of the UK Tea Council’s Award of Excellence.

Interior looks amazing and service was brilliant. Presentation of food was impeccable too. For me the flavour was average though - it was complex but not for my taste I guess. Still delicious.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at the Celeste last evening. The decor and the ambiance of the place were very nice. Led by Joanna, the Head Hostess, a team of waitresses provided immaculate services to us. They were accommodating to our requests and attentive to details. Quality of food from starters to desserts was superb in terms of taste, freshness of the ingredients and presentation, For wines, there was quite a wide range of choices on the wine list at reasonable prices.
Undoubtedly, this was one of the best fine dinning experiences we have in London. We will definitely go back to the Celeste again.

A wonderful experience! A beautiful room, relaxed atmosphere, delicious food and really wonderful, friendly and attentive service. The set menu doesn't offer a huge amount of choice (two starters, two mains, two desserts) but is excellent value, and they were happy to let us order something from the a la carte dessert for a small supplement. Every dish was fantastic.

We had an amazing birthday dinner at Celeste. We got the £35 three course meal deal through book a table, that is an Outstanding value. Choice is limited to 2 options each-starter, main and dessert. The food quality and standard was superb and you get extra 2 appetisers, bread, delicious pallet cleanser sorbet and chocolates and toffees to finish. Plus my husband got a happy birthday plate with a chocolate ball. Staff was very attentive, professional and pleasant. The restaurant is beautifully traditionally decorated and feels very luxurious. Oh and I must not forget the piano player that made the evening extra special.
I can't wait to go back.

Beautiful, arty, and spacious dining room. All foods were pleasingly presented and nicely cooked. Well worth one Michelin star.

Celeste has just been awarded a Michelin star. I went for the Bookatable special, which was the usual set menu, but with a glass of champagne thrown in. The food was delicious, involving the sort of work you would not attempt at home, the the service was also very friendly: when I said I had received a message that my guests were going to be late they offered to bring me newspapers to read. Theonly downside was that the wine (like most smart hotel restaurants) was very expensive.
