The service was excellent. Staff were very polite and attentive. Food was superb. The choice of cakes and sandwiches was very varied. The venue was beautifully decorate, light and not too crammed in.

We had Afternoon Tea which was very enjoyable. However we had to keep asking for more tea as one teapot didn't go far between three. We also had to ask for milk . The scones were nice and warm and plentiful but again had to ask for more jam and cream as one pot of each wasn't enough for four. These should have been provided without having to keep asking as it was obvious they would be required. When we have had afternoon tea at other restaurants equal quantities of each cake have been provided so everyone has a chance to taste the different flavours. This tea had all odd numbers three of one two of another so you couldn't get to taste the full range available. Please take this as constructive criticism.

Portions beautifully presented but on the small side & some of the food wasn't hot. A shame as a beautiful location & a good wine list.

Was ok. Made a request for a window table as it was a special occasion. I even phoned the day before to confirm this. When we arrived there were given two options of tables that were no where near the window and were then asked to wait until they prepared a table by the window.

I took my Mother in law for afternoon tea for her birthday. The food was lovely. Good selection of sandwiches great cakes and lovely scones. The staff were very attentive and polite. They overheard me say it was her birthday and bought her out a cake which was a lovely touch. We all had a great time and would recommend to others.
