Just off the famous Carnaby Street in the secluded Courthouse Hotel, The Carnaby Restaurant serves lunch, dinner and afternoon tea in a relaxed setting. A grill menu and British and Mediterranean comfort food are the staples of this Soho brasserie.

Guests can sample Spanish paella, snack on an indulgent club sandwich, or treat themselves to the British roast platter – roast beef with Yorkshire pudding, jus, roast potatoes and sautéed vegetables. Burgers, wraps, steaks and pasta dishes are also available. Desserts include cinnamon and apple crumble cake with custard, chocolate fondant with clotted cream, and baked cheesecake.

The Carnaby Restaurant on Great Marlborough Street is a stylish but cosy venue, with chocolate brown furnishings and tall windows. The hotel is steeped in history and the building has countless tales to tell of London’s past.

In one of London’s most vibrant areas, The Carnaby Restaurant is a 4-minute walk from Oxford Circus Tube Station.

Good food and good portion size, we went for a pre show dinner but bought off the main menu. quick pleasant service. Just right for a brasserie style cafe.

Entrance very uninviting as doors closed and not clear what ch door to use so used Hotel entrance. Lacked atmosphere and extremely quiet and no one using Brasserie for pre theatre meal. Had afternoon tea. Bread was rather stale but otherwise quite average but at £14.50 per head on ne can't really complain.

Unfortunately we ended up not dining at the Brasserie.
We arrived at 7.30pm and at this time the restaurant was empty. The waitress took our drinks order and the menus. Just after that two more couples arrived and sadly for the restaurant, one of the couples had a problem with their booking/voucher. The waitress was then dealing with their complaint and as they were being quite difficult, she seemed to forget that we were waiting.
After some time, we had still not received our drinks and the couple who were complaining were making the atmosphere in the restaurant untenable.
We therefore left and could not even gain the attention of the waitress to let her know.

Food and service were good. We were there to see the card sharp show so had pre-booked a meal for 5pm
The food and service were very good: and the service was friendly and efficient.

Enjoyed an excellent afternoon tea with colleagues before getting ready to go to an industry ball.
A lovely girly time was had by all. The sandwiches, cakes and scones were all delicious and, of course, the tea was good and refreshing with regular top ups.
Ralph was particularly attentive and ensured that we had everything we needed.
Definitely recommend and we will be going back when we can find another excuse! Thank you Ralph.

Lovely birthday treat for my daughter. Everything was lovely and very reasonably priced, especially the mini fruit tart. Staff were very good, and took pictures for us and made a fuss of my daughter on her birthday.

My Wife & I enjoyed a meal here prior to the Cinema show at the In- house Cinema. Service was excellent, food was satisfactory, décor a little to dark & sombre for our taste. However, overall it was good value for money. We would certainly eat there again

I took my mum here for a treat "afternoon tea " when we arrived the waitress was lovely I showed her my booking number and she said they don't do that offer offer anymore as its not on the menu to which I started feeling annoyed at as I had pre-booked it ! I said that I had booked this as a treat for my mum and not happy to be told that . The waitress was still very polite and lovely and said she would go and speak to the manager anyway she came back and said they would honour it and we thoroughly enjoyed it !, thankyou very much ..
