A relaxed restaurant awarded 2 AA Rosettes, Caprice Restaurant serves exceptional modern British cuisine. Set within the new AA Merit, 4-star Holiday Inn Reading, a calming al fresco terrace offsets the sleek, glass-enveloped dining room.

A refined selection on the Caprice menu draws on the best of the season’s produce, with classic flavour combinations served alongside wonderfully creative dishes. For a delectable taste of Berkshire, also enjoy traditional afternoon tea, filled with mouth-watering scones, finger sandwiches, delicious homemade cakes and freshly brewed tea or coffee. For extra indulgence, add a flute of prosecco or champagne.

Enjoy a wide selection of quality bar meals including extensive authentic Indian and Thai menu at Caprice in Wokingham. The plush Monty’s Lounge Bar boasts floor to ceiling windows, ideal for informal meetings and intimate evenings alike. Enjoy heady nightcaps, or your favourite cocktail, while enjoying music by Caprice’s resident pianist.

Caprice Restaurant sits close to the M4, Reading, Bracknell, and Wokingham. On both the Reading to Waterloo and Reading to Paddington lines, London can be reached easily from the adjacent Winnersh Triangle Train Station.

The service and the food was excellent. The staff were friendly and pleasant. There is a large car park which is free to diners. The only down-side for us is that the hotel clearly caters to business clients (it is on the edge of a large industrial estate, my wife was one of only 2 women in the restaurant that evening,.

Waited about half an hour between receiving our pot of tea and when the sandwiches and cakes arrived. Then had to order a second pot as the first was stewed. The tea was outstanding with delicious sandwiches and lovely cakes. Would have preferred fewer. Cakes with an extra sandwich but that is our personal preference.

Very pleasant environment. Staff were meticulously polite and attentive. We both had Lamb Rogan Josh, which was excellent. Being our anniversary, we were even presented with an extra little sharing dessert on a plate with Happy Anniversary in jus! Nice touch.

This was our first visit to the Holiday Inn at Winnersh. We were not in the Caprice Restaurant as advertised by yourselves. The greeting was not very enticing. We were seated in a corner of the room by the entrance to the toilets. Although they were expecting us nothing had been done to enhance our welcome. No tablecloths or cosy atmosphere.
