A short walk away from London Shaftesbury Avenue & Soho, both teeming with activity, Cambridge Hotel is a traditional pub serving wholesome British classics in a warm, welcoming environment. Popular with both audiences & actors, the pub is housed in an 1887 building right next to the Palace Theatre.

Since Nicholson’s pubs were first established in 1873, these traditional British inns have become synonymous with warm hospitality, hearty pub food and a speciality range of ales. As well as always featuring British pub classics like beer-battered fish & chips and gammon & eggs, the Cambridge menu is complemented by a rotating selection of pie, sausage & chop and fish specials for each season.

The Cambridge bar is always stocked with exquisite gins, warming whiskies and fine wines to pair with favourite meals, and there’s always a superb range of seasonal and regional real ales on offer. A constant at the bar is the St Austell-brewed Nicholson’s Pale Ale, made with Cornish Maris Otter malts, and a hand-picked blend of English hops.

The Cambridge Hotel in – Leicester Square is a 3-minute walk from Leicester Square Tube Station.

We had the afternoon tea for a group of 6. They were so accommodating when we added another person. Great tea, sandwiches, scones and dessert sampling. A highlight! Would definitely go back.

I come often to this pub-restaurant. It has a good location and generally, I like the pubs "Nicholson's"

Excellent location from Palace Theatre, with a varied if limited menu. The food was good. but arrived not as hot as I would like. The staff were very busy and I believe this was the reason.
If going to the Harry Potter show I would recommend this restaurant, but book a table.

We had an afternoon tea at the Cambridge right next door to the Palace Theatre between two plays. We had booked a table which was necessary. The food was just right, served quickly and really nice staff. Unfortunately my husband has difficulty with stairs and we were not warned that the restaurant is upstairs
