[...] Luckily they had availability. The food was good, the hot chocolate is fantastic but don't eat too much before you have it, it is very rich, maybe pop in for breakfast to have it?

Best coffee I have had in London, I went with an Italian Girl and her kid and was a little worried as Italians can be very negative about so called Italian food in England (in my opinion) but when I arrived she was deep in conversation with the staff and the child had a pile of tiny chocolate pieces in her paws. It seemed that the staff genuinely cared about our experience and my Pasta del Mare was most excellent. The inside is immaculate just like the drinks, food and service and i could find no fault with this place in any way.

Pre-concert -- restaurant very crowded and it was difficult to tell which staff member was waiting on us -- there seemed to be a bit of confusion on their part -- asked for our order by at least two different staff members, etc. But when it became clear that we might be late for the concert, staff was very accommodating.

We booked for 6.00pm, going to a concert at 7.30pm. Timing worked well, the restaurant was quiet and we were out easily in time to stroll to Purcell Room. Meal met expectations. Pity they don't take American Express.

You would never know from the outside but Caffe Vergnano actually has a spacious restaurant area inside, with huge arches and wine displays. Nice risotto but nothing to write home about. Coffee was great but hot chocolate was better!

Well you can certainly see why Caffe Vergnano's coffee has won awards - it's amazing! The food was almost as good, but was just a bit too al dente for my taste. The service was good though and we liked the funky decor.

Dined at 18:45 after work. [...]Well greeted at the door - table ready and booking known. Service ok, but could have been better. Wine list a little pricey. Choice of food was good, quality of food was very good, food was well cooked (meaning to the right texture), presentation good,. Location good for work and access to Waterloo - no delays to get to train.
