Café Rouge Woking serve affordable French cuisine in an authentic brasserie setting. With continental breakfasts and great value lunch options, you can also settle in for a full evening’s dining from the extensive Café Rouge menu.

As part of the nationwide group of Café Rouge restaurants, this branch offers their range of classic French dishes such as deep-fried camembert, baguettes, steak frites and mussels. There are also lighter dishes if you don't have much time to spare. The set menus for lunch and dinner (on certain days) are excellent value for money. There is also a good range of French wines, many from less well known producers.

In true French style, breakfast is also an important meal at Café Rouge. With croissants, pain au chocolat, omelettes and croques, as well as hot chocolate, tea and all types of coffees, it makes a great start to the day.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was really exceptional. I had the lamb. Beautifully cooked and with an intriguing sauce. Yum! My friend had the vegetarian tagine and was similarly delighted.

Terrible terrible terrible. Avoid at all costs. No other words can be used. Cold snails? Raw food, over charged bill, drink errors, nibbles came out after the starters. Nothing done for us when we complained other than taking the items we sent back off the bill! Like we should pay for them anyway!! This 1 location has put me off going to any of their branches ever again. They shouldn't be in business.

The food was awful. My friend chose a fish pate to start, which was still near frozen; the main course for both of us arrived almost cold, after waiting about 30mins between courses. The service was not good - eating utensils forgotten, finger bowls not provided.
I won't be eating here again.

Pre panto meal with 4 yr old grand daughter - friendly and helpful service throughout. Colouring pencils and picture arrived very quickly. Children's menu good and balanced, impressed with starter of raw carrot and cucumber with French bread! My salad was good, but the minute steak was tough and mostly inedible. this was disappointing as the food is usually very good. Our granddaughter was very happy to have a few jelly beans with her ice cream.

    Lovely Lunch

Arrived early for our 'on line' booking but were seated without a problem. An enjoyable experience with attentive staff and a wide variety of food and wine. The escargot at £6.75 was too expensive, three (3) escargot mixed with chopped bacon, oil & garlic was really poor value. The remainder of the meal was acceptable for the price we paid.

Had the bouillabaisse and wouldn't recommend it, it was bland and tasteless. My wife had confit duck with dauphinois potatoes that looked like they were days old !!! Finished with cheeseboard and asked for crackers (not bread) the waitress had to run out to shop to buy crackers.... Mad.

Last minute arrangement to go here as nice and big as one guest in wheelchair. Overall it's not the best place to go for food as menu is very limited and doesn't seem to have much variety and quite a few dishes weren't on. Food wasn't very hot and very average in accompanying vegetables. Good job I had gourmet card as got a good discount otherwise it's very expensive for what we got. Don't think we will go back again.
