Housed within an impressive building, Cafe Rouge – Greenwich O2 presents a chic, French-style retreat from the bustle. Floor-to-ceiling windows give the dining room a fresh, airy feel.

As part of the nationwide group of Café Rouge restaurants, this branch offers classic French dishes such as confit duck, beef bourguignon, steak frites and mussels. Smaller dishes also offer for a lighter bite. Particularly good value for money are the set menus for lunch and dinner (available most days). To accompany the food there is also a good range of French wines, many from less well known producers.

In true French style, breakfast is an important meal at Café Rouge in Greenwich. With croissants, pain au chocolat, omelettes and croques, as well as hot chocolate, tea and all types of coffees, it makes a great start to the day.

Nestled in a tranquil area of London, Cafe Rouge French restaurant in the O2 Arena is just a 2-minute drive from Maze Hill Rail Station.

The staff were very friendly. We were running late and rang to tell them and they very kindly held our table for an extra 15 minutes.

We enjoyed a meal here before a concert at the 02.

    Service poor

  • (**** by from Colchester

The food was average/poor and the wait- one hour fifteen minutes -for our food to arrive was ridiculous No time for desert or coffee as we had a concert to attend.Extremely disappointing.

Food disappointing. Severely understaffed resulting in incredibly slow service and confusion with orders. This was an event day but they really should have been prepared! Definitely won't go back. Nearly missed our show.

Food was fine, service was slow, and they brought out the wrong dessert, more staff needed at peak times.

Lovely experience - friendly, helpful waiters and tasty well cooked food. The chicken in my poulet salad was nice and juicey and my husband enjoyed the fish cake? Was a little concerned when we ordered dessert and were told there would be a 45 minute wait but it actually arrived within 10 minutes and was also very nice- chocolate fondant for me and tarte citron for my husband.

We waited for over an hour for starters at the 02 cafe rouge and then another half an hour for mains - cold chips, over cooked fish and beef stew which had hardly any beef in it. Lots of excuses from the staff and manager (all different!) including they had lost our order (and several other customers by the look of it) it was hot in the kitchen. Very disappointing for us all . They offered money off the bill and apologised lots. It seemed chaotic !

Good service received. Had contacted cafe rouge prior to attending and Elise had made note of my dietary requirements (no garlic/onion/wheat). When we got there she was able to advise about certain dishes which was v helpful. Had the £25 3 course plus glass of fizz deal which was good value. Steak ordered medium rare was a little overdone but will tasted nice. Parfait pudding was delicious but I think (being a hot day) had been put out a little too early as had started to melt quite a bit.
