Set within the Hotel Ibis, just around the corner from the DLR station, National Maritime Museum and Royal Observatory, Café Rouge Greenwich serves good value French cuisine.

As part of the nationwide group of Café Rouge restaurants, this branch offers their range of classic French dishes such as croques, beef bourguignon, confit duck and mussels. There are also lighter dishes for those with little time, and excellent value set menus for lunch and dinner (on certain days). To accompany the food is a good range of French wines, many from less well known producers.

In true French style, breakfast is also an important meal at Café Rouge. With croissants, baguettes and omelettes, as well as hot chocolate, tea and all types of coffees, it makes a great start to the day.

In the attractive London borough of Greenwich, Café Rouge is a popular choice for dining out.

A good basic Franchise style menu as at other branches of the chain. Friendly and helpful service.

Ordered poulet salad, received chicken caesar by mistake. Offered to rectify but we were pushed for time so kept the caesar. Staff apologised profusely and credited bill with a discount (my wine). Error well handled we thought. Too many radishes on my dish and lettuce in enormous chunks in my partner's nicoise salad were the only downside. Good service overall.

Despite the restaurant being quite busy we were seated quickly and had excellent service. Our server went out of his way to help us. At one point he literally ran to the kitchen to wash a steak knife and put it on our table only seconds after the meal had arrived.

All very jolly for a works pre Christmas meal. Food was good and came at a good pace. The beet root and goats cheese tart was delicious.

The food and service was very good and a reasonably priced. No quibble about tap water request. Waiters broke the wine bottle tops tops while extracting the cork. Replaced with fresh bottle each time. It was a bit busy and the layout of place caused it to be very noisy when full then the volume reduced as quest began to leave. Not the place for a quiet romantic chat.
It's still good place to dine and a nice uncomplicated French menu.

Outstanding. This is the best Bistro in town. On this occasion I had a large group of us. We had pre-ordered most but not all. The restaurant manager and the server we friendly, helpful and delivered all as required. Food quality was excellent. I had tested the wine earlier and their recommendations were spot on.
