Went there for Sunday Lunch, eating al fresco. One steak a bit tough; otherwise food fine. A good service that is what it is.

Serving delicious French cuisine in sophisticated brasserie-style surroundings, Chiswick Café Rouge is on Chiswick High Road. Full of character, there is a charming 2-level outside seating area.

As part of the nationwide chain of Café Rouge restaurants, this branch offers their range of classic French dishes such as confit duck, beef bourguignon, steak frites and mussels. Smaller dishes are also on offer for a lighter bite. Particularly good value for money are the set menus for lunch and dinner (available most days). To accompany the food there is also a good range of French wines, many from less well known producers.

In true French style, breakfast is also an important meal at Café Rouge. With croissants, pain au chocolat, omelettes and croques, as well as hot chocolate, tea and all types of coffees, it makes a great start to the day.

Café Rouge Chiswick in London offers relaxed French dining, and has a spacious yet cosy interior. Turnham Green Tube Station is an 8-minute walk away.

Dined on a Sunday evening, some of the menu options were not available and staff were not the most attentive. Disappointed for Cafe Rouge

Was there for breakfast. It was good to see some friendly staff helping families settling down, however I experienced a terrible service : it took her 4 attemps to have everything right tne table (for coffee, tea, orange juice and toast only!). My coffee was not exactly hot, butter was missing, and we felt we have to leave the table as everything was taken away before we finished our toats (which were ok). They should train their staff before!

Had lunch, very good service. Food was as always good. It was a very cold day and we kept jackets on as seemed to be little heating. Overall very pleasant.
