The pavement seating right by the water is a key feature of Café Rouge Canary Wharf, which offers good quality French cuisine to those in the Docklands area.

Just around the corner from Canary Wharf DLR, this is a very convenient spot for business lunches and dinners, but the restaurant is also open at weekends and can easily accommodate large groups.

Commuters particularly appreciate the French-style breakfast here, with croissants, croques and omelettes, as well as hot chocolate, tea and all types of coffees as just some of the options.

For lunch and dinner, being part of the UK-wide group of Café Rouge restaurants, this branch offers their selected classic French dishes including baguettes, mussels, steak frites and confit duck. Smaller dishes are also on offer if you just want a light bite. There are also great value set menus for lunch and dinner (most days). The good range of French wines at Canary Wharf Café Rouge, many from less well known producers, help to wash it all down.

it was a lovely sunny day so sitting outside by the water with my friends make the experience better than it would have been otherwise..
it would have been a good value meal however, the food turned out overcooked (steak not pink when ordered pink, chicken breast was dry) and service was really not great at all.

Food was nice. But when we got table, been waiting to be served ages, either restaurant was empty.
We been served by guy dark hair and blond skinny girl, staff were rude, no polite, could ask customers how is food, do we need something maybe...

There were four in our party on Friday lunch time and we all had a very good meal. the staff were attentive with out being intrusive, the food as I said was very well cooked and the Cheese Board was fantastic, one board was easily enough for two people.

Pretty poor! Restaurant was empty on arrival but they were not expecting us and had to rearrange. No colouring for kids as they had run out. Also had run out of mussels and things on the kids menu. Forgot to bring a desert and water despite several requests, when arrived too late. Food very mediocre and a starter was raw so sent back. Bill wrong at end too! Won't go again and dont recommend either.

overall nice pleasant atmosphere, waitress and staff very friendly, the only disappointment was the vegtables and potatoes were still hard.

Very good service, the food was lovely. Restaurant was very noisy though from people drinking in the bar. We used our Tesco vouchers so very good value too.

We were seated and served very quickly, but were very disappointed with the goats cheese salad which was basically just loads and loads of greenery and a light sprinkling of goats cheese! We complained to the waitress who then bought us a side plate of goats cheese to add. We would definitely NOT order that again. Our colleague had the nicoise which had lots of tuna - so I wished I had ordered that instead. Goats cheese salad definitely NOT worth the money.
