With its tiled flooring and exposed brick walls, Byron is an uber-cool, laidback restaurant. Signature burgers are joined by thick shakes and craft beers on the American-inspired menu.
The Byron menu is made up of juicy hamburgers, served the way they should be. Properly sourced, British beef is ground fresh into 6oz patties, cooked medium (or however you fancy) so they’re pink and juicy, and served in a squishy bun with a pickle on the side. Favourites include the double bacon with cheese, or the signature Byron.Byron also offers a ‘Mini Byron’ kids menu, plus vegetarian options and fresh, vibrant salads. Round things off properly with fries, sides, thick-churned milkshakes, specially-selected craft beers and homemade desserts.
A family-friendly retreat in Waterloo, find Byron on The Cut, a 5-minute walk from Waterloo Train Station.

We had a lovely lunch... but the high point was the excellent service.

Good atmosphere but very loud. Burgers were decent, chips with bacon and cheese could do with more bacon and cheese. Beers very expensive - £4.50ish for a 330ml can of lager. Only other complaint was no one came to take our pudding order after giving us the menu so after 25 mins of waiting we gave up. I will never know quite how freaky that shake could have been.

Byron Waterloo is an excellent place to eat before or after a show at the \old Vic or Young Vic. I love the "skinny" burgers with no bun - good salad veg accompanies these - and the sweet potato chips are excellent. We had a brownie and the while chocolate cheesecake for puddings and they were excellent. I left my scarf behindby mistake and the staff took good care of it until I returned to find it. The venue can get noisy.

Very good, a little slow on service and with the bill.
But food and drinks were prompt.

Fantastic experience. Food was great; good value; good quantity; good speed of delivery. But the staff really made it a memorable occasion - happy, fun, all smiles and nothing was too much trouble. Well done.

This must have been the best burgers we have ever had. Anywhere. Many thanks to the friendly young man serving us, who helped us with explanations and recommendations. The company's own freddar cheese is amazing and a must have on the cheeseburger and the home made oreo cheesecake is simply out of this world. I am not surprised the place is full by 6 pm and am glad we made a reservation in advance.
