Set in the heart of this charming city, Byron Salisbury is a family-friendly hamburger restaurant within the popular Old George Mall. On the site of a 19th-century watering hole, this lovingly restored dining room features bespoke and reclaimed fittings, and a theatrical open kitchen.
The Byron menu is made up of juicy hamburgers, served the way they should be. Properly sourced, British beef is ground fresh into 6oz patties, cooked medium (or however you fancy) so they’re pink and juicy, and served in a squishy bun with a pickle on the side. Favourites include the double bacon with cheese, or the signature Byron.
Byron also offers a ‘Mini Byron’ kids menu, plus vegetarian options and fresh, vibrant salads. Round things off properly with fries, sides, thick-churned milkshakes, specially-selected craft beers and homemade desserts.
Byron in Salisbury sits 6 minutes’ walk from the city’s world-famous cathedral.

Best burger I've ever eaten and I'm extremely fussy, my partner says it's the best he's had in the UK. Mac and cheese is to die for ???????? Their milkshakes are amazing too. We were early but table was ready, nice and spacious and clean. Staff are very friendly, helpful and cheerful even once it got busy.
Can't wait to go again, they deserve the 5 stars and more

Staff - excellent, very friendly and helpful.
Food - tasty and good choice on the menu.
Felt it was overpriced and would be better to have chips/ sweet potato fries included in the price.

Food and service was good, I had received email confirmation of the booking but the restaurant had no record of it, as there were seven of us it was lucky that they could accommodate us.

Great place. Love the seating by the windows especially.
Our waitor was nowhere to be seen initially so another member of staff looked after us so a bit slow to begin.

Our booking hadn't reached the restaurant but the staff did a great job in accommodating our party of 8 on a busy Saturday lunchtime. They were great with my 11 month old son and my friends 2 and 4 year old. The kids food came out quickly. The staff were attentive and friendly, the food was of a good standard for a chain restaurant and a lovely time was had by all.

Brilliant time was had by all. Party of nine teenage boys had great food and great service. Thank you.

We'd never eaten at a Byron before so weren't sure what to expect. Service was good, setting pleasant but food rather expensive for what it is. I suppose on a par with other burger specialist restaurants in most respects. I would probably stick with my usual burger restaurant in the future as I'm vegetarian and Byron had two choices. I've had bigger portions and more choice elsewhere if I'm honest, at a very similar price. Overall, not bad but nothing exceptional.

The food was so nice! We really enjoyed it all and it wasn't to expensive either! The waiters were all really nice and friendly! Would recommend Byron burgers to everyone!! Loved all the little pictures on the walls and favourite dishes were the smokey burger and the Caesar salad!

Pleasantly surprised as not really into fast food - decided to try it as recommended. A modern open plan restaurant with that shabby chic way with it but a warm welcome by both the Maitre' D and the waitress who both treated us with courtesy and humour.
Prices reasonable - a building block type menu where each thing you choose has a price but overall reasonable. We chose a Byron Burger with no bap but free basic salad - shared coleslaw and fries. The coleslaw tasted homemade and the fries were of much better quality than I've had in a while. I had mine cooked medium rare which suited me well. My only complaint would be too much pre-added dressing to the salad probably better to put a little bit on and a small pot on the side.
Drinks of reasonable to slightly expensive but that is often the way of restaurants. All in all a good experience and would definitely go again.
