Staff very friendly, food was great, and we didn't have to wait too long, even though it was Saturday lunchtime.

An American-inspired, family-friendly restaurant, Byron brings proper burgers to Oxford. Signature Byron creations are served in a laidback setting, with wooden floors and brick walls offset by industrial-chic décor.

The Byron menu is made up of juicy hamburgers, served the way they should be. Properly sourced, British beef is ground fresh into 6oz patties, cooked medium (or however you fancy) so they’re pink and juicy, and served in a squishy bun with a pickle on the side. Favourites include the double bacon with cheese, or the signature Byron.

Byron also offers a ‘Mini Byron’ kids menu, plus vegetarian options and fresh, vibrant salads. Round things off properly with fries, sides, thick-churned milkshakes, specially-selected craft beers and homemade desserts.

A family-friendly retreat in the city centre, find Byron Oxford a 9-minute walk from Oxford Rail Station.

Getting us seated was a nightmare and communication was poor at best. However, once seated the staff were friendly and attentive and dealt with my daughter's food allergies well. The food itself was excellent and I would recommend anyone to go there. Word of warning would be not to arrive on time when it's busy!

Food was good, as ever. Disappointing however, to have to argue the terms of the £15 set menu with the waitress. She was adamant it covered only 1 diner at the table, and the rest of us would have to pay the a la carte pricing for our meals, i.e. only one person was allowed to order the set menu. Eventually allowed us each to have the £15 menu as WE'D misunderstood the offer when booking.

Excellent. Quick and friendly service and excellent burgers. Brownies a bit dry.
