An American-style hamburger restaurant, Byron Derby is found within the city’s glitzy intu Shopping Centre. This edgy urban setting boasts floor-to-ceiling windows, mirrored walls and a bustling open kitchen, offering views of the chefs at work.

The Byron menu is made up of juicy hamburgers, served the way they should be. Properly sourced, British beef is ground fresh into 6oz patties, cooked medium (or however you fancy) so they’re pink and juicy, and served in a squishy bun with a pickle on the side. Favourites include the double bacon with cheese, or the signature Byron.

Byron also offers a ‘Mini Byron’ kids menu, plus vegetarian options and fresh, vibrant salads. Round things off properly with fries, sides, thick-churned milkshakes, specially-selected craft beers and homemade desserts.

A family-friendly favourite for casual dining, find Byron in Derby a 12-minute walk from Derby Train Station.

pleasant dining experience. 7 of us attended and we were all happy with the meals we had. burgers were excellent as were the starters. The only criticism are the prices for drinks which are quite frankly extortionate. Charging £3.50 for a soft drink which is a standard size 330 ml fizzy pop can is a joke and they need to review this practice as it ruins what is otherwise a good and fair charging system.

3 of our group has the Father Cheesemas burger and loved it. I had a build-your-own chicken burger, also delicious. The cheeses were the best we've had on burgers EVER.

Not usually a burger fan but came with family - lovely juicy burgers - casual - laid back setting and good atmosphere - would definitely come again.
