Found within the cosmopolitan Arc Shopping Centre, Byron Bury St Edmunds is a family-friendly hamburger joint. The glass-enveloped dining room allows for views out onto the bustle of the shoppers, and outdoor seating allows for al fresco dining during warmer weather.

The Byron menu is made up of juicy hamburgers, served the way they should be. Properly sourced, British beef is ground fresh into 6oz patties, cooked medium (or however you fancy) so they’re pink and juicy, and served in a squishy bun with a pickle on the side. Favourites include the double bacon with cheese, or the signature Byron.

Byron also offers a ‘Mini Byron’ kids menu, plus vegetarian options and fresh, vibrant salads. Round things off properly with fries, sides, thick-churned milkshakes, specially-selected craft beers and homemade desserts.

A buzzy restaurant boasting a theatrical open kitchen, Byron in Bury St Edmunds is an 8-minute walk from Abbey Gardens and the town’s cathedral.

First class service and the most delicious food. Although a little pricey all in all a fantastic evening. Well worth the dining experience.

What we had was fine. Would have preferred more choice on menu. Bit limited

Excellent food and service which was delivered with all the finishing touches ie frosted drinking glasses and ice cold drinks.I have only used the online booking service once but when I arrived there they had no record of it on their computer and the explanation I was given was that it had not downloaded yet? We did get a table but if it had been busy things may have been different?overall, excellent .

Quirky interior, seemingly made up of reclaimed materials. Friendly and helpful waiting staff. Good menu, although I felt the drinks were rather pricey. We were there for a late lunch so it wasn't busy, hence the average ambience rating.

Somewhat disappointed! Having had Lunch at Byron on the Kings Rd London, thought I would book for my Sons Birthday. Realise Bank Holiday Monday not ideal!
The Music FAR FAR too loud competing with noisy youngsters. Service OK although irritating that having ordered, was offered Menus twice after by different waitresses. This happened EACH course. Fed up by being called 'GUYS'!!!!
I know I Was the third Generation of my party so perhaps BYRON wasn't the place for me. Felt Inwas in MnDonalds which would have been far cheaper.

Burgers were very tasty, but for the price portions were very small :-(
There was a lot of noise coming from the prep area, cutlery being dropped, plates crashing into each other. Did not create a relaxing atmosphere for my self, husband and two children. It was actually the children that commented on the crashing noises.
We gave the manager a £5 tip to give to our waitress, who was very pleasant (The waitress l mean)
Coffee that l had, was only luke warm

On the whole...a noisey expensive experience sorry to be so negative
