Found in the city centre, Byron Bristol Triangle serves signature hamburgers in an old-school setting. Dine in reclaimed wooden booths underneath suspended light bulbs, or at the window counter, where floor-to-ceiling glass frames the bustle of the neighbouring street.

The Byron menu is made up of juicy hamburgers, served the way they should be. Properly sourced, British beef is ground fresh into 6oz patties, cooked medium (or however you fancy) so they’re pink and juicy, and served in a squishy bun with a pickle on the side. Favourites include the double bacon with cheese, or the signature Byron.

Byron also offers a ‘Mini Byron’ kids menu, plus vegetarian options and fresh, vibrant salads. Round things off properly with fries, sides, thick-churned milkshakes, specially-selected craft beers and homemade desserts.

Byron in Bristol is found 13 minutes’ walk from Bristol Clifton Down Train Station.

I've eaten at Byron a few times recently and generally really enjoy the meal. this time we arrived at 5pm on a sunday afternoon and the place was almost empty. We all enjoyed our meals, with the exception of me who ordered the new special "the Bunzilla", i found the wasabi to be too overposering and was unable to taste the other contents of the bun, not really an issue as this is the only burger i haven't enjoyed from Byron and now i know to try something else next time. That being said, the skin on fries are some of the best out there.

My only two criticisms of the evening were, dispite being one of only 4 tables in the restaurant out burgers till took around 30 minutes to arrive. I could understand this on a busy friday night, but considering theyre only grilling a few patties and deep frying some vegetables, 30 minutes seemed excessive. The other criticism is that we asked for a jug of water with our mains, we had to remind the waitress when she came to do the check back, by which time we had nearly finished our meals, and she finally brought the jug when she came to collect our plates.

That being said, this was uncharacteristally poor service for Byron and it was still a thoroughly enjoyable meal and we would still recommend.
