With an unbeatable view overlooking Tower Bridge and the Shad Thames, Butlers Wharf Chop House serves modern British food sourced from local London suppliers. British charcuterie from Borough Market is joined by lovingly sourced fresh seafood, on a menu which is perfectly complemented by an extensive range of local gins and craft ales.

Flavourful British dishes from fresh, seasonal ingredients lead the Chop House menu. Dine in the restaurant, or al fresco on the riverside terrace, the perfect spot to take in the views and enjoy fresh fish and chips, grass-fed steaks, a selection of oysters, sumptuous lobster and more.

The Butlers Wharf Chop House is bright and modern in style, with simple décor and sleek wooden finishes. The bar offers wines from around the world, including English sparkling wines and an extensive list of British spirits as well as a selection of craft ales.

Just seconds from Tower Bridge, The Chop House is a short walk from both London Bridge and Tower Hill tube stations.

We have been to Butlers Wharf quiet a bit now but this was our first time to The Chop House.. Its a very different dinning experience to Ponte next door, not in an all together bad way just a totally different feel. My negative about The Chop House was as we sat down the leaving comment as the lady walked away was you have two hours, little rude and that vibe was felt all the way through the meal. Our starter arrived within 2mins of ordering, not is very efficient but not the rushed feel we was looking for. Crab starter was loverly, my steak main was large and beautiful.. My fiancée had the pie, which very tasty. We didn't stay for a desert... Very nice place, the lady that emails was loverly accommodated our change of plans and remembered me from the emails.. Nice personal touch, relaxed feel to the place but again the rushed feel didn't leave us wanting to run back I'm sorry to say..

service was good. atmosphere was good. food was good. only problem was when we had ordered our main course the waiter came back and said they had run out of a certain dish which was not explained in the beginning. will definitely be going back in the future

Food was quite good, service was not up to standard, I would think twice about coming back. I have not used this restaurant for some time, have visited many times since it opened. The problem is untrained people serving that don't seem to care about the paying customer. This is never acceptable, but is now very common, due to the standard of staff employed from overseas, who really don't understand how to treat people whilst serving.

service was very good, we were moved to a quieter table with better views of the Thames. We ordered from the set menu. I thought the selection could be better as a vegetarian my options were fish and chips or gnocchi which was in a heavy cream sauce. Overall the food was fine, the portions were good, my Pavlova dessert was too big that I left half of it.
