So disappointed in our experience last night. We have eaten at Busaba Eathai on the last 3 occasions we have visited the O2 for concerts and always so happy with the excellent service and quality of food. We took my son to see Ed Sheeran for his 9th birthday last night, and booked a table for 5.30pm. We arrived at the restaurant at 5.25. We stood in a queue for 15 minutes, with no one acknowledging us, or the people in front of us - lots of staff were walking by and standing by the front desk to process orders. After worrying our table was going to be given away (as we were now 10 minutes after booking time) and establishing the people in front of us hadn’t booked, I approached one of the waiting staff to explain we had booked, to be shouted at to get back in the queue and wait.

We eventually got seated at 5.45. The waiting staff all appeared incredibly harassed - they were running around and throwing dishes in the stations with great crashes. We waited until 6.15 for drinks. Our food arrived at 6.25. We had ordered prawn crackers from the children's menu for our son, and cashews. These never arrived. My noodle dish was freezing cold, clumped together and inedible. When we eventually got the attention of who I assume was the very busy looking manager, and explained we hadn’t received some of our food and it was cold, he removed these items from the bill, but did not have time to apologise.

Having had such a lovely dining experience on previous occasions I can only assume the restaurant was incredibly short staffed and this contributed to the awful service. There is no excuse however for shouting at waiting customers, and this most certainly did not give a warm welcome and really ruined the first part of a family outing for my son’s birthday. Surely if the restaurant is located in a venue that has regular events, the anticipation for busy evenings like this should be accounted for in planning staff, particularly door greeters. We won't ever go back.

Poor service! Terrible in fact. Rude staff. The whole experience was quite mortifying given that i'd sung the restaurant's praises to my mates amd insisted we book there for a birthday meal. The waiter didn't understand the order, table wasn't cleared before the mains came. Dirty dishes were piled on with our mains crammed around it. The waitress didn't even bother picking them up. My plate was taken away before i even finished my meal. We are not going there again, even though the food was good. But that's about it.

Great food. Very busy so not exactly intimate but it's in the O2 and ideal location for a pre-concert meal. Good value too.

Given Busaba Eathai was located at the O2 and we went pre-concert, our expectations were not high. Boy were we wrong. Every dish we ordered was amazing and the cocktails were just as good. A word of caution to people who order "spicy" because they expect the restaurant to "dumb it down for the masses"...don't- hot means hot here. Even the Thai cashews as a nibble while we contemplated the menu were "next level". Our server, Sophia, was highly attentive even though the pre-concert crowd had the place maxed out. We will most definitely be coming back...even if we're not going to a concert.

It was ok bur not exceptional. The staff were polite & helpful. Although English was a problem & service was a little slow. Food was ok but not what we were expecting. I would not dine there again although the coconut rice was very good.
