At London's biggest retail and entertainment complex, Busaba Eathai Westfield Stratford is an intimate escape from the shopping crowds. Exotic Thai recipes and cocktails are served in a buzzing setting with communal tables and an Oriental-styled interior.

Flavoursome delicacies from across Thailand are served on the Busaba Eathai menu. Aromatic noodle soups include tofu and glass noodle, made with fresh oyster and wood ear mushrooms, while celebrated pad thais pack in smoked chicken, king prawn and shiitake. Mouth-watering curries are rich in colour and perfectly spiced with the likes of banana peppers, Thai aubergine and bamboo shoots. For those just after a quick bite, there are small sharing plates of specials such as Thai tacos, chicken lollipops, and soft shell crab.

Sweet treats on the dessert menu at Busaba Eathai London include exotic flavours like pandan roll with coconut ice cream, passionfruit mousse, as well as rich banana fritters and gluten-free crème brûlée. There are Thai beers and spirits, colourful juices, as well as signature cocktails made with exciting additions like rice tea, mango lassi and mulled lemongrass wine.

With floor-to-ceiling windows letting natural light flood in, Busaba Eathai Westfield Stratford is a soothing escape from the crowds, and sits 2 minutes' walk from Stratford International Rail Station.

Great, swift service and attentive staff. Even when a plate was dropped by the waiter it was dealt with professionally and courteously.

Service staff were very rude. Quality of food was nothing to write home about. From the outside this place looks very promising but on the inside this couldn't be further from the truth.

It was very busy, which was expected as it was near to Xmas, but the whole meal was bought up at the same time and just placed on the table. This meant that some of it was cold by the time you were ready to eat it. The waiting staff were not patient when trying to explain the dishes that just kept coming!

Good. The heat was mostly there this time. Keep it up.

The green papaya salad should have been hurt though- it does have 3 chillies next to it after all.

I took my friend as a treat for her birthday and the food was amazing. The crispy squid was especially delicious and the Malbec was special. Can't wait to go back again!

Took my wife and daughter to Busabi Eathai after the Anniversary Games. Being Saturday evening and with hundreds of people looking for food we booked ahead and despite a long queue we were cordially welcomed on arrival. The staff were excellent, and seemed to have time for customers despite the rush. As people left, the tables were cleaned rapidly and the food arrived promptly and was delicious. We had ordered a 2 course meal from a limited selection and it came nearly all at once, making a blur of starter and main course, but as Asian food is meant to come when as soon as it has been freshly cooked, it all worked. The odd part is sharing a table with strangers, and it was noisy in the room, but we were able to converse and did feel that the common shared experience was a pleasant change. I recommend it for a good, well priced meal in a buzzy atmosphere, but not for a convivial tete-a-tete or special date. In stead, I would go with a group and enjoy the buzz!

You get what you pay for. Roughly spend about 20 pound per person excluding drinks. Food was okay, but nothing special. Was Very busy, so maybe others enjoy it more than myself. This also meant it is not very private, when dining as couples you may be sat virtually on top of another couple. So can hear their conversatio. I would recommend for large groups of people as you'll be seated of a square table facing everyone.

The dining experience and service can be consider good, unfortunately the dish I have picked up did not taste like describe on the menu. I believe more information about dishes will be good to have. As it was Sunday the place was also full with families and children and the express menu wasn't available, as well as tasting menu was only available from the 4pm. That was a bit disappointing.
The place looks very calm and relaxing from the outside, that's a good indicator, but again I found it slightly overpriced to pay for my "watery curry" with grilled chicken more than £10, separate for rice, etc. Our bill (I was dining with three friends) came to £70 which I think its good amount to spend on lunch, yet, I feel slightly disappointed with the whole experience.
