Inspired by the rustic dishes and bold flavours of the Mediterranean, Burley Manor and its wood-fired kitchen produce food that is from the heart, to be enjoyed together in relaxed, spectacular surroundings.
Advocates of the slow food movement, time is spent finding the finest produce from as close to the restaurant as possible. Making the most of its New Forest location, ingredients on the Burley Manor menu are sourced from forest to coast using the unrivalled choice of local suppliers, before the traditional wood-fired oven brings out the best in them.
Guests can also enjoy a unique, tailored Mediterranean feast on the chef’s table in the Butler’s Pantry whilst watching their dishes cooking in the wood-fired oven. Chat away with the chefs, enjoy a glass of champagne and sample an array of different dishes from the region of your choice as they come straight from oven to table. Served in the cosy pantry with 2 bench seat, the price includes a bottle of champagne for the table, and a 3-course regional Mediterranean feast for between 6 and 8 people.

Food was an unusual collection of lovely dishes which made a change to the usual restaurant menus. All the food we had was fresh and full of flavour and beautifully presented. The restaurant was very attractive and quirky. The French bread for breakfast was delicious.

The dinner menu had good variety. The seafood starters we chose were fresh and obviously sourced from a very good wholesaler. The mussels were all consitsently large, succulant and delicious. Waiters, waitresses and management in the dining room were attentive and efficient, providing us with an excellent dining experince - thank you to all the staff. The quality of the breakfast and the professional staff equally matched dinner. I highly recommend dining at Burley Manor - first class!

Took my fiancé for an early valentine dinner and when we arrived we were greeted with warm and welcoming smiles, the staff in particular are incredibly friendly and professional. The food was exceptional, and my fiancé and myself enjoyed every bit of the meal. Their homemade oils for the breads were second to none especially the rosemary and garlic oil. All of our needs were met and a quote from my fiancé is "that his steak was cook to perfection something he never gets in any other restaurant when he orders steak, its either over or under the way he like". the dinning experience was great and would definitely be going back, its now become our little escape for special occasions. The appeal of this manor is fantastic with a lot of the original architecture, we are currently looking to have our wedding there and I am certain it would be great. I didn't get one of the staff's name but I assume she is the restaurant manager, she was incredible throughout the dinner and when I almost left my bank card she ran out to the parking lot to return it. I cannot stress how fantastic the meal was and would recommend it to anyone, great value for money.

Unsure of quite what to expect from menu names. But wow when each course came it was absolutely packed with flavor and presented beautifully. The starters Bresoola mozzarella and the panfried squid wetted the appieat nicely. I had the sirloin steak cooked medium rare which melted in the mouth. My wife had the roasted venison which was cooked to perfection. The sweet was an absolute master class warm Orange Blossom Madelane limoncello brûlée, marmalade, yoghurt, orange sorbet small and punchy with flavours that just burst in your mouth. The waiting staff were pleasant and attentive working as a team to ensure seamless service. Only slight down side were the cappacinios which were a little on the cool side. We loved it and can't can't wait to visit again.
