A 2-minute walk from the 14th-century Porta Bologna and medieval Rocca castle, Buriani dal 1967 is an Italian restaurant serving regional cuisine and run by the second generation of the family that opened it.
As the restaurant's name would suggest, it began serving customers in 1967. Although today's personnel have changed, they maintain the same philosophy of their relatives – to provide great quality dishes, made from the best ingredients that change according to the seasons. Even though the dishes respect tradition, they also display the innovation of the chef, Alessandra Buriani. The Buriani wine list comprises around 300 labels, mainly from the Emilia-Romagna region, but with some other Italian and international wines also featuring.
Providing a welcoming atmosphere, the Buriani restaurant's 2 dining areas are distinctly separate. In keeping with this 18th-century town's architecture, one of the rooms has exposed stones and an intimate feel. The other is airy, with English glass windows that create a lighter ambience.
Located at the southern entrance to Pieve di Cento, a town named 'City of Art' in 2001, Buriani dal 1967 is set in the heart of the Romagna countryside. Right in the middle of Bologna, Ferrara and Modena, it is no more than an hour's drive from each.
