Bull’s Head Chislehurst is a pub-restaurant that presents infallible British classics alongside award-winning Young’s beers. A cosy interior of plush leather booths, fresh flowers and candlelight makes it the perfect setting for relaxed dining.
The Bull’s Head Chislehurst menu toys with British classics, offering up venison sausages with rosemary and garlic mash and Dingly Dell pork belly with apple & calvados sauce and apple fritter, as well as Dauphinoise potatoes. There’s also a delicately spiced Moroccan starter of lamb koftas, houmous, olives and flat bread, while a ‘little uns’ menu caters for families.
Wing-back chairs and roaring fires are a snug fit for those watching live sport on the main bar’s two large plasma TV screens. The Bull’s Head Chislehurst bar menu includes the intriguing cola-glazed baked ham sandwich and the delicious shredded pulled spicy pork in a brioche bun. Sunday lunch features a majestic whole stone bass, filled with prawns & smoked salmon with a white wine and brandy sauce.
The Bull’s Head Chislehurst is a Young’s Hotel on Royal Parade in Chislehurst, just East of Bromley.

We had the traditional afternon tea.Lovely atmosphere excellent service particularly enjoyed the scones. Tea was excellent I had the bulls house blend, my husband had Earl grey. Sandwiches were fine other cakes were ok. Experience was ok but a bit overpriced we thought for what it was!

I thought bar staff good. The waitresses were rushed a bit. I needed a new knife as it was clearly dirty but I had to find a waitress. My guest had grizzle in her ham sandwich. But she didn't want to complain. They did not offer one or two fingers sandwiched more? They scones were too brown and just crumbled. So hard to add cream and jam as they just crumbled. Pastries were nothing special. A mini cream slice or traditional walnut or carrot mini éclairs would have been better. We asked for a top up but they change the pot to plain and a cup and saucer that didn't match. .odd ones. The venue was fab and decorated vintage mix. Very nice. I know that we've not paid Ritz prices but I was a bit disappointed.
