Menu was appealing, food was all delicious and service was excellent. Restaurant was very noisy because of a large party but we didn't mind and staff were very apologetic.

Just been for lunch at Bruach after receiving a voucher as a gift, service was great, food and cocktails were amazing

We had great cocktails followed by a lovely meal at Bruach. The food was delicious. We both enjoyed the mussels and hake. However, from a service point of view, it seemed to be training night.

First time the girl in the bar had made the cocktails, which did go well, although I do think one of the measures was missing in the French Martini. We did love the Flirtini.

Upstairs though, the waitress in the restaurant failed to mention the wine ordered was no longer available. In fact, she set her alternative choice of bottle of wine in the cooler abruptly down on the table and quickly left. There was No offer to check the wine was as ordered or to even open, pour and taste, which is all part of the experience when you order a good bottle of wine. In addition, when ordering sides we ordered steamed greens, but we were not told that this would already be part of the main course instead of the 'missing' fennel salad. Although thankfully the greens were tasty and nutritious.

When you go for a meal it's often the little things that make the difference between good and excellent.

Good service (could be a little more alert), good food (steak slightly tough although a good flavour and well presented). Table could have been a little cleaner.

The meal itself was delicious but the service was pretty poor. We were never told that there were specials or what the soup of the day was when we arrived. The waitress came back and asked us what we would like to drink although we had never been given a drinks menu. I eventually asked about the soup of the day which the waitress had to check. It wasn't until we were waiting on our mains that we heard another tables' waitress tell them the specials. We were a little disappointed because a few of us would have tried the specials. The waitress only brought over 1 steak knife even though 2 of us had ordered the beef. I eventually had to ask for one when the mains arrived. The waitress also only gave an option of 3 ciders when my partner asked what ones are available. We saw later on that there were in fact other ones available which he would have preferred.

The food was delicious! Particularly the Rump of Angus Beef and the Lamb. They were cooked perfectly. Just felt a bit disappointed by the service.

    Staff friendly and helpful
Most of the food very good however rosti with the salmon dish was undercooked and soggy

The food was delicious! The cocktails amazing. Service a little slow (but one of the waitress's nice, helpful and friendly). We left a decent tip though im not certain it was deserved. Would go back. Overall was really good.
