This was our second time dining here during a recent trip to London. We went back because our first experience was very good. Unfortunately, our second trip not so much. Unlike the first time (our waitress was Gosia) this time service was very slow, and our waiter was very inattentive. The food was consistently good, but we got so frustrated we left and went elsewhere for dessert and coffee.

We needed a good lunch in Victoria and Browns was easy to find despite not knowing the area very well so big tick there. We were greeted and seated overlooking the shopping precinct where it is housed and spend an unhurried few minutes deciding on our menu choice. Being fish and seafood fans my wife went for the fish pie while I ordered the prawn and crab linguini. Both dishes went down well, mine was spiced up with lime and chilli while the pie was piping hot. Our deserts took a little time to arrive (the restaurant was getting busier by then) but they were both tasty and well presented, though my wife was a little disappointed by the brandy snap 'basket' which was more like a biscuit. Our server, Szymon struck the right balance between being attentive but not pushy and he was polite and personable. The bill was what I would expect for the quality of food and service and using a promotional code for 25% off food elevated it from reasonable to good value. Would we eat there again? Probably, but being a modern building in a shopping centre does not lend it any ambiance though it is well fitted out and more quiet than one might expect. Great for a lunch stop, but probably not for a romantic evening out.

I've eaten at Browns before and yesterday was as good as ever. Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere and good food, reasonably priced.

Overall satisfactory. Although I had posted that one of our party had an 'onion family' allergy, we still had to scrutinise the menu for possible options. My friend chose her main course, and needed to ensure the waiter went back to the kitchen to check that there were onions in the dish, (there were, the meal was slow cooked in an onion gravy, although not advertised on the menu) for the same dish to be recommended by the manager some 10-minutes later as a viable option. When it arrived, the food was good, but it took ages verifying that the ingredients would not make my friend unwell !! Although Victoria is a good location (very central) for us to meet, we will probably go else where to dine.

For a start Victoria station area is quite a depressing area to visit at present with all its building work.
The table for two was rather small. Staff were friendly and busy. The asparagus was not prepared properly and a lump at the bottom of each stem should have been removed before cooking. The grilled salmon was dried out I'm afraid but the coffee was good. My male companion was impressed with the clean toilets

Visited your restaurant in the way to Billy Elliott in the theatre. The good was outstanding, we had the Browns share platter to start, followed by Ribeye steak. We each had a different sauce to compliment iur choice of steak. Followed by a gorgeous dessert. The surroundings was very pleasant and the service from the staff was also pleasant and prompt.
