Great atmosphere, attentive staff and service. Just what I have come to expect from Brown's. I had the beetroot starter which was excellent followed by fish and chips. Loved the raspberry in my prosecco as no room for a dessert. Just right!

Lovely. Sandwiches were a tiny bread roll. Nice but an actual sandwich would have been better. Cakes were delicious. Chocolate pot less so. Service excellent atmosphere great

We opted for the 2 courses and a glass of prosecco each @ £19.95.
I had the pulled pork starter and my wife had devilled mushrooms which was delicious.
We then had the 8oz sirloin steak and the fillet of sea bass served on a risotto base which again was delicious.
This was washed down with a bottle of malbec wine which was reasonably priced at £20.
    Great experience as always.
Only one slight criticism was the noise from the music I would have preferred the piano been played but eh oh!!

    The cakes specifically were delicious.

Chosen for location for pre-theatre dinner. Husband had burger which was good. I had beef pie which wasn't so good. A few cubes of overlooked beef swimming in a thin gravy with an ultra thin puff pastry top. The Camembert fondue starter was very good.
Fast service - a bit too fast. When I asked for a 10 minute break between starter and main, we were told that mains are automatically started 6 minutes after the starter goes out, so no room for individual appetites!
Busy place on a late Saturday afternoon, lots of bustle and noise but not an unpleasant experience overall.
