Had a fantastic dinner, staff were very friendly and food was amazing. The experience was so good we booked to go again before we had even left!

Retaining some of its 19th-century architectural features and décor, Browns Brasserie & Bar – Mayfair serves mouth-watering European cuisine and refreshing drinks in a friendly atmosphere. Set in one of London’s most prestigious areas, and close to Regent Street & New Bond Street, Browns is the perfect retreat from the bustle of the shops.

Spanning from breakfast through to lunch and dinner, the Browns menu offers all-day brasserie dining. Indulgent plats du jour and Sunday roasts are staple favourites, while sumptuous European flavours include lobster tagliatelle, the wild boar & chorizo burger, or steak pie with buttered mash and broad beans. A sophisticated children’s menu at Browns offers tempting favourites with a grown-up twist.

Showcasing a penchant for cocktails, the Browns bar offers an array of classic mixes, signature concoctions and thirst-quenching mocktails, as well as fine world wines, smoothies and creamy milkshakes. Enjoy Browns’ afternoon tea and cake accompanied freshly-roasted coffee from an independent supplier, or a warming pot of loose leaf tea.

Browns Brasserie & Bar - Mayfair is a 5-minute walk from Green Park & Piccadilly Circus Tube stations.

Absolutely fine afternoon tea serving for 3 people. Lovely that it wasn't too much to eat. Non expensive. Good champagne too. Unfortunately even as we had booked a table in advance it seemed as if there was no table for us, and we were placed at probably the worst table just outside the kitchen door. You could argue that there ought not to be a table there. Other gueste also several times had difficulty passing us and we felt a bit in the way. Even so, the place was very nice, and the food that we saw other people eat looked really good.

The Beetroot & pumpkin starter (with avocado and poached egg) was very good.

Attractive venue, very attentive service - they took particular care over my friend's food allergies. Good menu and food was excellent. Wine list good, too, and fairly priced. Overall pleasant atmosphere, not noisy and fairly spacious, though helped by fact it wasn't that busy on the Tuesday night we visited.

This was my first visit to Browns Mayfair and must say I we were not disappointed. For a Saturday evening the restaurant was quiet but this just added to the ambience, we were able to chat without shouting over other peoples conversations and there was some unobtrusive background music. We were served by Vinny a very attentive waiter who was very considerate and knowledgeable regarding the menu. The starters were very nicely presented and the smoked salmon was full of flavour, however the main of Cote de Bouf was beautiful, cooked to perfection and full of flavour. Perfect !
The cocktails, what a bar tender, these were great and depending on taste complimented the meal.
All in all, a great visit and we shall be back and would highly recommend this restaurant.
