We visited here for Champagne Afternoon Tea. Everything was fresh, tasty and well presented. Good service too and no problem when we asked for the scones to be replaced as they had been too highly baked. One of the nicest afternoon teas we've had and at a fair price

Indulgent plats du jour and Sunday roasts are staple favourites, while sumptuous European flavours include lobster tagliatelle, the wild boar & chorizo burger, or steak pie with buttered mash and broad beans. Showcasing a penchant for cocktails, the Browns bar offers an array of classic mixes, signature concoctions and thirst-quenching mocktails, as well as fine world wines, smoothies and creamy milkshakes. Enjoy Browns’ afternoon tea and cake accompanied freshly-roasted coffee from an independent supplier, or a warming pot of loose leaf tea.

I had the seared seabass which tasted Devine.
However could have done with a bit more seabass especially at £15.95 only got half of the seabass and I've had this in many other restaurants before and always had a whole seabass.

We had the afternoon tea for 2, lovely selection of cakes and savoury rolls. Service was great, very attentive. Extremely busy and sometimes a little noisy.

We arrived on time but we're kept waiting for a table. The service was poor as we had to wait for the drinks and to order our meals.the starters were good but the main meals were not we ordered the lamb rump which was tough with gristle.we had to wait for bill and were not happy that a 10% service charge had been added as we did not want to give a tip.
