Housed in the iconic 19th-century ex-General Post Office building, Browns Brasserie & Bar – Glasgow is a friendly, relaxed venue, ideal for enjoying a morning coffee, light lunch or delicious dinner, as well as a variety of colourful cocktails. Nestled in the centre of the city, Browns is a short stroll away from the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.

Spanning from breakfast through to lunch and dinner, the Browns menu offers all-day brasserie dining. Indulgent plats du jour and Sunday roasts are staple favourites, while sumptuous European flavours include lobster tagliatelle, the wild boar & chorizo burger, or steak pie with buttered mash and broad beans. A sophisticated children’s menu at Browns offers tempting favourites with a grown-up twist.

Showcasing a penchant for cocktails, the Browns bar offers an array of classic mixes, signature concoctions and thirst-quenching mocktails, as well as fine world wines, smoothies and creamy milkshakes. Enjoy Browns’ afternoon tea and cake accompanied freshly-roasted coffee from an independent supplier, or a warming pot of loose leaf tea.

Browns Brasserie & Bar - Glasgow is a 4-minute walk from Glasgow Queen Street Rail Station.

Excellent, from arriving to leaving, staff very warm welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. H aging a designated table server was fantastice. After our meal we moved to the bar and again our table server reserved a table for us. She was very tall and beautiful ( we where 4 ladies celebrating a 60th birthday. Have dined in Browns before and will do again

Very average food at a premium price. 2nd try, there won't be a third.

soup was cold and some of the main course was also served cold (weirdly the rest of the main was warm).
dessert 3 scoops of ice cream but served in a tall cup resulted in all 3 being mixed ended up a big disappointment.
the restaurant itself is stunning cracking city centre venue and the staff were excellent

Offered 25% discount on food at time of booking but when bill came discount not given and I had to ask for it and show my email confirmation. This was awkward and disappointing. Otherwise very good

Had the early bird dinner £10:95. Excellent value. The chicken liver starter was absolutely first class and the salmon tagliatelle was excellent. Cocktails were so good and reasonably priced, I had two. The waiter, Jamie, was absolutely brilliant - a credit to your company. I'll be back ??
