In the heart of one of London’s most vibrant areas, surrounded by theatres, galleries and shops, Browns Brasserie & Bar – Covent Garden serves a mouth-watering variety of British & European-inspired dishes. Housed in a converted building which was previously the Westminster County Court, Browns also offers pre- and post-theatre suppers.

Spanning from breakfast through to lunch and dinner, the Browns menu offers all-day brasserie dining. Indulgent plats du jour and Sunday roasts are staple favourites, while sumptuous European flavours include lobster tagliatelle, the wild boar & chorizo burger, or steak pie with buttered mash and broad beans. A sophisticated children’s menu at Browns offers tempting favourites with a grown-up twist.

Showcasing a penchant for cocktails, the Browns bar offers an array of classic mixes, signature concoctions and thirst-quenching mocktails, as well as fine world wines, smoothies and creamy milkshakes. Enjoy Browns’ afternoon tea and cake accompanied freshly-roasted coffee from an independent supplier, or a warming pot of loose leaf tea.

Browns Brasserie & Bar - Covent Garden is just a 2-minute walk from Leicester Square Tube Station.

A lovely restaurant. I received a warm welcome and was offered the opportunity to give a preference of table. The waitress was friendly and attentive without being overbearing and the food was presented promptly, beautifully and tasted delicious.

    Afternoon tea
Lovely place but disappointing experience table book for 9 @ 16.00 sat down at 16.20 tea/coffee service at approx 16:30 did no get sandwiches and cake until gone 17:10 had to ask for more tea as we had drunk the pots that had been provided at 16:30 also my guests who had coffee had to pay extra for a second cup - no cream with scones . Asked for jug of water this was slammed down on table . I requested when they did the bill not to put on optional service charge as we like to do our own . When I went to the ladies the waiter went to the table said I did not want to give a service charge so here's the bill . It's a real shame as this put a damper on my birthday treat. I appreciate that they were very busy and we did not complain when we had to wait for our table

Place was looking a bit tired and the good was below average steak and ale pie looked more like a lamb broth extremely disappointing.
