In the heart of one of London’s most vibrant areas, surrounded by theatres, galleries and shops, Browns Brasserie & Bar – Covent Garden serves a mouth-watering variety of British & European-inspired dishes. Housed in a converted building which was previously the Westminster County Court, Browns also offers pre- and post-theatre suppers.

Spanning from breakfast through to lunch and dinner, the Browns menu offers all-day brasserie dining. Indulgent plats du jour and Sunday roasts are staple favourites, while sumptuous European flavours include lobster tagliatelle, the wild boar & chorizo burger, or steak pie with buttered mash and broad beans. A sophisticated children’s menu at Browns offers tempting favourites with a grown-up twist.

Showcasing a penchant for cocktails, the Browns bar offers an array of classic mixes, signature concoctions and thirst-quenching mocktails, as well as fine world wines, smoothies and creamy milkshakes. Enjoy Browns’ afternoon tea and cake accompanied freshly-roasted coffee from an independent supplier, or a warming pot of loose leaf tea.

Browns Brasserie & Bar - Covent Garden is just a 2-minute walk from Leicester Square Tube Station.

Arrived a little earlier than planned, not a problem, got seated quickly. Waited a good 30 mins for unusual afternoon tea to arrive although everything was fresh and very nicely presented. Opted to have our Hendricks Gin and tonic after. The tea was lovely although too much sweet stuff for our liking. Overall it was very nice. The water glasses needed replacing as they were all dirty.

Nice ambiance, pleasant staff, ok food. Drinks expensive - I consider £7 for a very average Aperol Spritz too expensive.

Really tasty options on the 2 course menu for and a £4 virgin rasperry & grapefruit mojito. Served by a helpful efficientt and smiling waitress, made the lunch enjoyable which was important as this was the first trip out for my step-mother after too many years at home.

Great experience at Browns Covent Garden. There were 4 9of us, one of whom is a wheelchair user and although we had booked but turned up half an hour early, the staff could not have been more welcoming and accommodating.
Stella was our waitress and she was superb, taking time to explain and recommend dishes and wine and checking that everything was just right.
We opted for the sea bass, burger and prawn and crab linguine mains all of which were superb. All things considered, we had a lovely time there.
