Comfortable space with children. Friendly staff but very slow device...particularly given that restaurant was not busy. Food was good but roast and vegetables were not hot. Potentially more than good but appears complacent given busy position.

Lovely relaxed pub with range of clients (families, young couples, older couples, blokes)
Yummy mains: lamb shank, sea bass and my roast with the extra gravy I requested provided and all was superb and filling.
Slight glitch with kitchen but no stress and fabulous waiter ... Excellent wine list, and we were given as much time as we wanted at the table - no hassling. We just sat chatting and catching up.
    Too full for the deserts
Great place and food, would recommend!

Total nightmare, they had run out if food by 2pm despite the fact that we had booked weeks ahead. This was a family Christmas gathering totally ruined, we had to roam around to find anywhere else that could seat us and give us a proper roast lunch. Staff response was pathetic - we will never go again and I shall be passing on this information far and wide .

Relaxed atmosphere with good service & a small but varied menu of individually produced dishes. We shamrock terrine, pork bribery & sea bass, all of which were really good. Nice wine selection. Also, the breakfasts are outstanding
