The visit to the Freebridge Farm Brewer's Fayre site was a booked meal for 3 to celebrate a 65th Birthday. After being greeted by a friendly staff member called Nadine, we chose a table to sit at. Ordering is very simple there. The building is nicely furnished and was heated to a nice temperature. Sometimes it can be rather hot in there but it also depends on how many peopple are in there, but this time it was just right, aothough by the time we were leaving it was starting to get quite busy. My favourite dish was available, the smothered chicken. It was cooked to perfection. It includes chicken covered with bacon and melted cheese, chips, barbecue sauce, coleslaw and garlic bread. The birthday girl had a lasagne which was copoked perfectly and had a texture and flavour. The other person in our group had sausage, egg and chips.
The trip had been booked a few weeks in advance in case, like last year, it was full due to people having staff Christmas meals out, but luckily it was not full this year. Using a discount voucher from an online survey and bonus card discount we managed to have three main meals, three desserts and three drinks for jsut under £25. The offers via the bonus Card scheme are welll worth signing up for.

Very happy experience. Bit surprised at the Smoked Haddock Florentine. My husband said it was very tasty but I didn't expect a square pre-formed piece of fish on his plate. It certainly didn't look apertising. Otherwise good as always, very pleasant helpful staff.
