Surrounded by the rambling Norfolk greenery, the Brasserie at Barnham Broom is a cosy countryside retreat with an award-winning menu. Sourcing all seasonal produce locally, the intimate dining area benefits from floor-to-ceiling windows, while the summer terrace offers sensational views of the grounds: perfect for al fresco dining.

With a focus placed on local produce, the Brasserie at Barnham Broom menu serves up contemporary British cuisine, such as shin of beef with heritage purple carrot and slow-roasted onion, and Magret duck breast, with chicken liver pate and mash potato. The Norfolk mixed grill includes weighty slabs of meat including honey-roasted rump of lamb, Anglais steak, sweet-cured gammon and chorizo sausage: a menu favourite for carnivores, no doubt.

Indulgent desserts include red wine poached pear with yoghurt sorbet, and Norfolk treacle tart with bay ice cream. A great selection of local ales, fragrant cocktails and delicious wines complement the menu.

Wholesome British cuisine with lush scenic views, Brasserie at Barnham Broom in Norfolk is 15 minutes’ drive from Wymondham train station.

Overall the food was good but the service was very slow ,we had to wait quite sometime for our drinks.one for our party had a napkin with mildew on it.
A really nice selection of vegetables with lunch, the puddings were really nice and fresh.would happily go again next year.

Had a very enjoyable afternoon, catching up with an old friend. The waiter & waitress were very friendly and helpful. We didn't feel at all rushed and enjoyed our afternoon talking for 4 hours. The afternoon tea that was brought out was superb.

We were made very welcome. I had asked for a quiet table as it was a birthday celebration and we were given a superb table. The staff were very attentive and friendly, the food was wonderful, couldn't fault anything. *I can honestly say that we enjoyed every mouthful!! Really made my day and a fantastic end to a lovely week at Barnham Broom. Menu was good, I had mussels to start and the most flavoursome and well cooked sea bream followed by a well presented and melt in your mouth sweet of rhubarb. My husband was equally pleased with the soup, chicken and cheese cake. Wine was good. Couldn't fault a thing. Just wished we lived nearer!!
Thank you to all the staff. We will be back again! (Have been coming to Barnham Broom since 1992.) It seems to be at its best this year.

The afternoon tea was well presented and very nice. Staff were friendly although we were not sure where to pay and it was hard to get someone's attention to ask. The overall experience felt a bit corporate rather than luxurious
