Surrounded by the rambling Norfolk greenery, the Brasserie at Barnham Broom is a cosy countryside retreat with an award-winning menu. Sourcing all seasonal produce locally, the intimate dining area benefits from floor-to-ceiling windows, while the summer terrace offers sensational views of the grounds: perfect for al fresco dining.

With a focus placed on local produce, the Brasserie at Barnham Broom menu serves up contemporary British cuisine, such as shin of beef with heritage purple carrot and slow-roasted onion, and Magret duck breast, with chicken liver pate and mash potato. The Norfolk mixed grill includes weighty slabs of meat including honey-roasted rump of lamb, Anglais steak, sweet-cured gammon and chorizo sausage: a menu favourite for carnivores, no doubt.

Indulgent desserts include red wine poached pear with yoghurt sorbet, and Norfolk treacle tart with bay ice cream. A great selection of local ales, fragrant cocktails and delicious wines complement the menu.

Wholesome British cuisine with lush scenic views, Brasserie at Barnham Broom in Norfolk is 15 minutes’ drive from Wymondham train station.

We took afternoon tea in the lounge.......the food was first class. Beautifully made cakes with more than enough for two people. Very relaxing.

I had never been before and would definitely recommend ,in fact I went onto Facebook and told all my friends how great it was and they should definitely visit . The choice of seating ,service and food was fantastic .I have also booked a 3 night stay for my mum and aunt at the end of February as a gift.

Hi, we were booked in for afternoon tea at 16.00, we chose to sit by the fire which was great, we asked if the food could be served & after a bit of a wait it turned up, its was presented lovely & was delicious.

Sadly during the afternoon there was a couple of occasions when we required assistance, there were at leased 3 occasions when we had to go and knock or enter the kitchen to get the staffs attention.

When the staff were on hand they were very attentive and catered for our needs.

First class ?? Jeanette was excellent again as our waitress and I changed our booking in the morning as our daughter and 11 month old grandson would be joining us too. It was no problem and when we arrived Jeanette had placed another table next to us to give us a bit more space on our table while we were eating. My Mum & Dad loved it and I'm sure we'll all be back again! ??

Went for afternoon tea to celebrate my dad's 90th birthday. It was his first ever experience of afternoon tea and he thoroughly enjoyed it. When we first arrived there were no staff around so I had to ask at hotel reception for somebody to see to us. Disabled toilet was not signed and was too far away for my parents to use.

Afternoon tea. A delight. Excellent variety of items. Sat watching golfers coming down the '18th'. And attentive staff.
