Another great evening in this friendly restaurant. The food and ambiance was up to the usual standard and the service excellent. We will return.

In a quaint setting 50 yards from the Piazza, Boulevard Brasserie Covent Garden offers uncomplicated French cuisine in an intimate setting. Set over 3 floors with bistro-style decor, there’s also a chic wine bar housed in the cosy basement.

A welcome retreat from the activity of Covent Garden, Boulevard Brasserie London offers simple cooking, using well-sourced ingredients. From the a la carte menu, there are classics like baked brie and cranberry pastry, rocket and Roquefort risotto, and boeuf bourguignon.

Boulevard Brasserie offers a range of delicious French wines and champagne to perfectly complement the wide range of dishes. For those left wanting more, the dessert menu’s tantalising flavours range from lemon and ginger cheesecake to chocolate tart with Cointreau mousse.

Bringing simple French favourites to the heart of London Covent Garden’s Boulevard Brasserie is next to the Theatre Royal, and Covent Garden Tube Station is just a 4-minute walk away.

I'm someone that loves to be hot, however this restaurant took it to the extreme, I thought I was going to pass out, we had to ask a couple of times for the air conditioning unit to be turned on.
The food, my friend thought her starter of salad leaves with olives & feta was too bland, the soup whilst lovely did not come with bread or croutons, bit of a let down.
The mains were good quality food, the 4 of us had a different main course and there were no complaints.
The cheese board dessert was a little dissapointing, no butter, 5 crackers & 1 piece of blue vein cheese! Chocolate tart was rich but lovely, ice cream, well you can't really go wrong.
The waitress & waiter were attentive when necessary & offered water which we gratefully accepted due the the heat in the downstairs part of the restaurant.

Very nice food with good sized portions. The service was very brisk and efficient. The prices are typical Central London type prices, so on the high side but, al in all, very nice and we would use it again.

A little gem near Covent Garden with wonderful service . We had the unlimited Prosecco afternoon tea and it flowed freely so well worth the money. The afternoon tea itself was great and a brilliant atmosphere - we will be back to try lunch and dinner options .
