According to the Guinness Book of Records, this is the oldest restaurant in the world. Established in 1725, legend has it that master painter Goya worked in the kitchens as a young man. Always a favourite of the showbiz stars, you can sample traditional Castilian food at its best - garlic soup for starters and roasted lamb or oven baked piglet cooked to perfection, classic desserts such as sponge cake with meringue and cream patissiere, all accompanied with a great wine offering.
