Boisdale's new addition has a great ambience and lovely service. Quality of food continues their restaurants immaculate experience. We can recommend a visit as long as you dont expect having a cold pint of lager considering their taps ran out already 7pm...

Boisdale of Mayfair is absolutely brilliant. The restaurant is so atmospheric and intimate and the addition of the jazz singer was wonderful. The food was superb and we were so well looked after by a delightful young lady, very knowledgeable about the menu and it made for an absolutely brilliant night, felt like we'd been many times before. Unfortunately didn't get the young lady's name but she deserves a special mention for her friendly manner, ensuring that we were happy with the food and drinks. She's a real asset. Restaurant very easy to find, located in a quiet area near to Marble Arch. The food was very well cooked and freshly made, the linguine with prawns, garlic and chilli was very nicely done and my partners chicken was beautifully presented, the lemon cheesecake (recommended by the lovely waitress) was gorgeous with a meringue topping and a great finish to a lovely meal. We both absolutely loved the Blackface haggis starter - nicest we've had anywhere. All in all, for a 'spur of the moment' weekend booking, fantastic! Highly recommend this restaurant.

Lovely evening, staff were excellent, food was lovely. However the steak was off the menu and was replaced by a classic burger, but we had to pay extra for fries and there was no garnish, this was poor, particularly as the chicken came with potatoes and veg. The music from the live jazz was in short supply also.

The restaurant is a small to medium site with a small bar downstairs, its actually lovely decorated with photos and picture frame, it has a small piano, with an area for singing. I liked the different alcoves to dine, so you can sit upstairs, downstairs, basement but I found it all rather sexy. Me and my guests had never been to place this before, its very romantic with the candles, table linen, cloths and endless glasses but it formal but still informal in a way. The service was very very good, one of my guests who arrived early was allowed to sit at our table, and wait, and they looked after her, with offering of glass of wine to some food, and they took care of her dietary requirements with ease. I was very impressed. I loved the SOD - which was parsnip valoute - mussels in Thai Coconut broth, but the Twix Brownie, my goodness was exceptional!!!!!
I also had a glass of wine - their house wine selection I think is very reasonable in price, with lots of descriptions, prices for 125ml and 175ml and a bottle - but all very reasonably priced. My guests and I had a very lovely time, we felt relaxed, with food and service, staff were very attentive and accommodating.
