Warm and welcoming atmosphere, service was prompt, friendly and very efficient. The food was magnificent, probably one of the best rib-eye steaks I have ever eaten, cooked to perfection.

With trademark tartan hues, Boisdale of Bishopsgate is opposite Liverpool Street Station, and serves up fine Scottish cuisine for a hungry crowd of City diners. The Piano Bar features live jazz every night, and there is a classic oyster bar for relaxed dining.

The luxuriant Boisdale menu features delectable caviar, steaks and shellfish. The finest, naturally reared Aberdeenshire beef makes up the superb Boisdale steak cuts, which are dry aged and grass-fed for exceptional flavour. For a sumptuous treat, try the Rossini seared foie gras with fresh grated black truffles.

Interesting fine wines and premium champagnes are available at Boisdale restaurant, alongside indulgent desserts like bitter chocolate cheesecake and blood orange gelato.

Close to Liverpool Street, Boisdale features a smart interior with sleek banquettes, cosy alcoves and classic design. Scottish house specials and a vibrant ambience accompany excellent service at Boisdale London.

Enjoyed the dining experience on both occasions that I dined there - the second being made at very short notice for that evening from the bar!

Amazing experience. From the very friendly and helpful staff upon arrival to the wondering old world ambience of the restaurant, with live jazz music.
Had a great steak dinner with lovely wine and candlelight in the heart of the very busy bishopgate. It was a welcome retreat.

Was here for my partners birthday overall experience just ok, I booked a table at the front of the stage with the ala carte menu ended up at the back of the club any further back would have ment me dining in the cloakroom, after the staff rectified that I was put close to the stage but to the side behind a pillar better than the cloakroom! Drinks took to long to arrive a good 10-15 mins from ordering possibly because they moved me just after ordering, Entertainment was ok dean and frank crooners, dissapointed with my food as I ordered a 9oz rib eye med/rare ended up with a fairly well done tough piece instead, good enough though the staff knocked this off my bill not much consolation as I ended up not having any main as my partner had finished hers and it was past 10pm getting a bit late to eat somethink else, shame really was looking forward to this came up from the northwest.

Quiet on a Monday night but still maintaining the Scottish atmosphere. Service was friendly and attentive. British tapas dishes were delightful and haggis was a good main course to fill me up.

Lovely food but I was a bit disappointed with the serving sizes. My gravlax starter consisted of 3 small slices. The calves liver main had 2 small slices which was very disappointing. Apart from that it was good with a lovely ambiance.

We had a reservation for 9 p.m. and were 5 minutes late (my fault for not knowing the public transportation system better on the first day I had ever visited London) and the waitress said that she did not have a reservation for my wife and I and also that their kitchen closes at 9 p.m. That being said, even if we did make it at 9 p.m. we would not have been served because the kitchen would have been closed.
