Lovely food, drink, service and setting for afternoon tea - especially enjoyed the unusual sandwich collection.

It has a very lounge-y atmosphere. I thought the waiters weren't too helpful - they seemed like they didn't want to be there. There were too many flies around too, which made it hard to relax. I heard good reviews about the food, but I don't think it was that special - I could find something similar in a Tescos or something. The champagne was good though.

Booking was easy and the staff were very nice and friendly. I had a lovely time at the afternoon tea and would go again. The selection of food was nice too.
Unfortunately the toilets weren't quite clean.

The Bluebird's afternoon tea was absolutely lovely. Although it was very quiet and the seating was slightly odd (my friend and I seemed very far away in their chairs) the afternoon tea itself was delicious. The savoury options were great and the sweet options (and there are plenty of them) were also equally delicious. All I would say is if you're looking for a better atmosphere perhaps go later on in the evening rather than the afternoon as it was very quiet and empty. Overall very good!

Lovely afternoon tea, the sandwiches were made to our preference and the cakes wonderful. Would've been nice to be offered more tea. Excellent venue and good atmosphere. Generally staff were helpful and curteauous although one of our waiters was a little off-hand. Would definitely visit again.
