Excellent food and service, children usually are picky with gastropub but this time they were delighted and want to come back soon..

This was our second visit and everything was exceptional just as the first visit. All the staff were pleasant. The food was wonderful as always especially the roast beef amd Bailey's creme brulee.

Not as good as we'd hoped. Although we'd pre-ordered, the starters were wrong and 2 of us had to wait a while for ours, then almost an hour's wait for the main course. The food was good - not exceptional.

Have been to the Blue Bell twice for lunch and each time it has been a very enjoyable experience. The food is excellent and the service also. I would happily recommend this pub-restaurant to anyone.

Took my dad here for his birthday upon first class online reviews. Have to say the decor, staff and service was all absolutely first class. We had initial drinks and chat by the real log fires and then was guided to our table. The food was beautifully made and we chose seasonal duck and beef dishes respectively and the chef was top notch. For my dads creme brûlée they took time to dress on large plate and write happy birthday in chocolate, lovely touch. Highly recommend for a special treat.
