Food was delicious. Waitress extremely kind. Explained every item on the menu to us. I don't understand why this restaurant isn't full every night.

A modern restaurant serving classic Italian food, Bibo Putney is both sophisticated and rustic. Created by chefs with Michelin-starred backgrounds, the menu is authentic but packed with exciting flavours and seasonal ingredients.

Begin with a warm quail salad with farro, or a delicious, oozing burrata with ham and pears. Tantalising mains on the Bibo menu include lamb rump with artichokes and salsa d’erbe, seabass with braised fennel, and pappardelle with slow-roast pork ragu.

With brown leather seating and chic tiled flooring, the bar at Bibo in London offers an Imbibe-award-winning wine list as well as classic and creative cocktails. With stone walls and wooden flooring, modern artwork adds a contemporary feel to the rustic and informal restaurant.

A short walk from the Thames, Bibo restaurant is a 3-minute walk from both East Putney Tube Station and Putney Train Station.

The starter and main were ok but it's worth going here just for the bombolino (little Italian doughnuts ) absolutely yummy

Friendly staff 10/10. Service was good 8/10 although had 3 different waiters. Food was okay 6/10. It was overpriced for what it was though. Paid £19 for a small/medium portion of some sliced steak served on a bed of leaves and cherry tomatoes. We looked at the menu in advance so knew the prices, just disappointed with food when it came. Starter was salami which was also basic. I liked the place but left feeling 'stung' so will go to other places in Putney where you can get equal or better food for less.

Very dark, very noisy and the food has gone down hill somewhat since it opened. My lamb rump was inedible. Fatty and tough. I complained when the plates were cleared but received no sign of concern.

Great service, very friendly and attentive. Surprisingly empty, but it was a cold Monday evening in late November.

Bibo is consistently excellent. Wonderful food, in terms of quality and originality, and very friendly service. Stellar wine list also. Putney is very lucky to have this place and I urge all locals to support it. Such a great place for drinks, dinner, nibbles, a romantic meal, or a get-together with friends.

Bibo's appeals because it is close to where our daughter lives. The very Italian feel of Bibo's makes it special from the menu to the wine list. The food is delicious - straccini with Sicilian tomatoes sends flavour through the mouth and the pasta and guinea fowl with wild mushrooms and truffle oil is beyond description. The Italian wine on offer to suit most budgets is a treat for any wine enthusiasts.
