Amazing experience. Truely wonderful to pretend we were little girls again with the dress up. Food was exceptional although we were a little disappointed only because we really wanted the Alice in wonderland themed one but couldn't book as an option online.

Betty Blythe is a lovely vintage tearoom. We had afternoon tea for two. Can't fault it - a great experience. We had the beautifully decorated downstairs room to ourselves including props and hats, costumes etc to try on. We felt the tea was great value for money, the food was all delicious and plenty of it. We really enjoyed the private, peaceful and calm atmosphere. Top marks Betty Blythe!

Had such a good time. Staff were friendly. My niece and I had great fun trying on the different accessories.

Enjoyed the food. A minor point is that I thought the scones were a little hard and assumed they weren't fresh.

Really appreciated the opportunity to take the cakes away boxed up nicely, as we were both to full to eat everything.

I booked a high tea for my friend and I for her birthday and the service was wonderful. The sandwiches and cakes were delightful and when the cakes came out the staff had places a candle on one of the cakes for my friend, it was very thoughtful. I would definitely recommend a visit. The whole concept is very clever and fun, however i think if there were more costumes to select from it could have enhance the experience but it was great nonetheless.

Had an absolutely lovely afternoon. We had our own private room, and the atmosphere was fab. Really enjoyed that the tea was staggered over a couple if hours and was handmade and unique food. Particularly enjoyed the toasts with goats cheese and honey and the sparkling mint and lime water to finish. Service was excellent and so friendly. Will definitely be back x

We adored the experience at the Betty Blythe Afternoon tea. The food was plentiful and delicious, the dress up box was amazing, and the host was kind and accommodating. It was a LITTLE difficult to find but not too bad.

The food and tea was pretty nice, yay, but the teeny tiny basement room where the afternoon tea occurs was cold and rather dingy. I was hoping for a lot of fun props and costumes to try on in pretty movie set type surrounds evocative of the era but this definitely felt like someone's basement hurriedly tarted up with only a couple of sad baskets of props. An ok experience but not worth a special trip and there are far better teas in the city in more lovely surrounds. They also messed up the bill and started contacting me in New York to arrange Bacs payments and the like and yet for all the hassle didn't take any percentage off the bill which was slightly annoying as it was their error.

I booked for my daughter's 18th birthday. It was absolutely fabulous. Everything was done to perfection. The staff could not of been more helpful. Being able to dress up made the experience extra fun. Would definitely recommend this to anyone.
