The interior is really quite nice. I attended for afternoon tea at £15 per person. It was basic, sandwich fillings were tasteless, the scones were already sliced and got quite hard. The tea was pleasant as was the Prosecco that we purchased as an extra. I don't think I'd go again for afternoon tea but overall I had a pleasant afternoon.

Light & roomy restaurant, with friendly & efficient staff. The food was excellent & the menu had a good variety of dishes reasonably priced.

The restaurant was absolutely fabulous even though we both thought the breakfast room should be down stairs and the main restaurant upstairs. Other than that the food was great and the service and staff were brilliant.

Overall the food was excellent - well presented and beautifully cooked.
The service though was slow. Our table was reserved for 18.30 and the starters arrived at 19.20.
The serving staff were pleasant, helpful and polite.

Excellent service from all staff. Went here as it was our first anniversary of getting married at the Three Swans and we hadn't been back since. We said it was our anniversary and they brought us complimentary champagne and wrote happy anniversary in chocolate on each of our desserts, really lovely touches. Not a massive choice on the menu but what was on there was varied and reasonable. Food excellently presented and most importantly, delicious and filling! I was happy with what we paid considering we had 3 courses and 2 drinks each. We weren't rushed or bothered too much. Would definitely visit again

Not the best experience... Was brought out tea cups which were left on the table, it wasn't until after we had eaten and asked for the tea that someone brought out a pot. The cake and sandwich selection was brought out with out cream and jam, again something we had to request. We were served by a selection of different waiters who didn't seem to know what was happening or what we had ordered.

Took my daughter for afternoon tea for her birthday, have eaten here many times. The service was appaluling, I felt there was big training issues with young staff. Unlimited tea, you would think at least that would mean a new teabag not the one that was in there previously just topped up with boiling water. The scones were dry & we had to ask for the jam& cream otherwise I am sure we wouldn't have been brought any. I did complain to the manager or senior and to be fair she was very apologetic and did upgrade us with two glasses of champagne.

Ate lunch and breakfast here. Lunch service was very poor.....we had to wait nearly an hour for food to arrive after ordering which was really bad considering we had 4 children aged 2-5. They could have at least warned us of the wait or bought out kids meals earlier. They also messed up the drinks order and failed to bring drinks we had ordered at all. The food was ok, but not of the statndard would expect of the pricing. e.g a caesar salad was £16 and nothing special. Would definitely not be returning.

Breakfast seemed to also suffer from the poor service. No table available on arrival so had to wait. In the buffet breakfast they ran out of bread, bacon, hash browns and eggs and did not replenish them during the half hour we were there eating our breakfast. Quality of the breakfast was quite good, except sausages.
