Absolutely fantastic! The service was incredible, as you would expect from a Michelin starred restaurant. Equally, the food didn't disappoint either - the flavours were exquisite and finely balanced. Incredible value for just £35!

What a fantastic place! Food like nothing you would experience in your run of the mill Indian restaurant, delicious! Service great, staff friendly. When we mentioned that we had met chef Atul Kothchar before, the waiter got him to come up from the kitchen to talk to us ! Such a lovely man .
    Will definable returning.

This is the second time I have eaten at Benares and it was every bit as good as the first time. The food was excellent, there were some amazing flavours in both the starter and main course dishes, and the service was very friendly and efficient. I'd go back there time and time again...

Good food and service. However I think we had a better meal last time.

From the moment we arrived until we left it was a fabulous evening. We had the tasting menu with the 'prestigious ' wines - expensive but worth every penny ! Every course was absolutely gorgeous. The waiters explained every course and the wine waiter described and explained why each wine complimented the food. Even watching what other people were having seemed to enhance the whole experience Chef Kucher even came up from the kitchen to speak with his friend Chef Kaimes ! I wish I was going back this evening
