Lovely restaurant with very tentative staff but its catered for European market, or those who don't like spice, traditional Indian food isn't so bland. Whilst I appreciate they've put a modern twist on the traditional dishes, they've compromised in my opinion on the flavours and spices. There are much better Indian restaurants if you want more richer flavours. The lamb chops as starters were divine - it's the only dish I liked. Everything else was tasteless. I've grown up eating curries coming from an Asian family so from that perspective it didn't do it for me.

Food was delish. throughly enjoyed it. had the poussin starter, absoloutly divine, lovely fresh salad on the side really complimented the beautiful meat. and had a haddock curry for main. Really good kick of spice from the curry, very nice indeed.

Also had a delicious bottle of white wine, an albarino. Went nicely with all courses.

Service was ok but wouldnt write home about it. They were very slow to take our order and we were starving. But they were nice and plesant.

    Would visit again!
