It was a busy Saturday, we were a table of six. We had good service from friendly staff, never felt rushed. Food was enjoyable, the limoncello tart was fantastic.

Although it was a very busy lunchtime we were served fairly quickly. All the meals were ok but not stunning. We were in a rush to leave as we had school pickups so didn't check my bill so missed the fact I was charged for a drink no one had. I will be more vigilant another time.

Service was excellent but the standard of food was poor. I ordered an oven baked dish it came with no sauce it was dried out. Had it replaced with no problem had more sauce but pasta shells were to thick and under cooked!!!!!

A pleasant meal in easy surrounding. Just right for a pre theatre dining experience.

Booked a 5:30 pm table for Saturday 16th May. No issue with reservation or our table in the glass area at the back. Drink and Food order service OK. But we waited over 40 minutes for our two starter to arrive. 1 Soup, 1 Mushrooms. Once finished, plates removed and then our main course's arrived all within 5 minutes. The Food was Ok.
Would I recommend it, probably not, Don't think that we will be returning. We only booked here as we have a theatre appointment next door at the Solihull arts complex. We ordered a second drink and waited ages for this. With both courses we were offered parmesan cheese and black pepper it would have been more professional if the waitress had a dish to put the cheese grater back onto as after she gave us the cheese instead of it going all over the table and then she brushed the excess cheese off the table onto the floor with her hands. Not the sort of service you would expect from a place like this.

I took my sister to Bella Italia in Solihull for her birthday. We arrived at the beginning of lunch, when it wasn't so busy and we were greeted straight away. I had pre-booked, so as they were checking the details, other staff were very friendly and welcomed us too and we were asked which table we would like to choose. Menus were brought straight away and as we were choosing, our drinks we had ordered arrived and we were able to order the food as we were ready. We chose from the special menu, two courses for £8.95 and the first course, Bastoni with garlic dip came, which was a good amount and the bread was still very warm. We then went on to have Pannini with chicken, lettuce, cheese and dressing, which again was a substantial amount and that was served with chips and rocket salad. By this time though, it was beginning to get busier and we noticed it took longer for the main course to arrive but there seemed to be plenty of staff on. We were then asked if we needed anything and when we were eating, they enquired if it was all alright. It was really good value for money and the only downside, I felt ,was that the soft drinks were expensive. We paid £2.45 for a lemonade but I suppose they have to make the money somewhere as the food is such good value. We had a sweet too and I tried the trio of Dessert shots which included Amerreto chocolate, Tirimasu and Cherry Pannacotta, they were all really nice and finished the meal off well. The music was quite loud when we first arrived but that was turned down within a few minutes and there was plenty of choice of different kinds of seating, so we were lucky enough to choose a table for two by the window. The atmosphere had a nice feel and by the time we left it was a very full restaurant. Really nice food, plenty of it and we found it a really pleasant experience.

I was very disappoint there were 4 adults in the group and 2 children. We ordered the meal and waited 40 minutes for the meal to arrive . When in did eventually get to the table my daughter only received half of her meal my husbands wasn't ready and my 3 year old granddaughters meal wasn't ready. 5 minutes later they arrived. Was hard trying to explain to a 3 year old that her meal wouldn't be to long. My husband ordered a medium rare steak that looked like it was well done to Extra well done in fact I would say it was burnt. It was such a shame because it's a lovely restaurant lovely staff and usually lively good. The impression I got was there was not enough staff to cope they all seemed rushed off their feet .
