Service Good however food very expensive and dishes very small portions. Do not think we will come back to this restaurant again.

Excellent menu choice, and excellent food at reasonable prices. Service was very quick even on a Friday evening entire meal lasted roughly an hour (starters and mains). Would definitely recommend.

We loved Bella Italia. The atmosphere was lovely. The waitress who served us was very pleasant. The gentleman who initially greeted us at the door was lovely too. We had lots of lovely food (particularly the Pollo Robiola), and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We had to try the desserts, even though we were full, and thought the idea of the shot glasses for desserts was a great idea. We only managed 3 though, and not the 5!

As always a pleasure to dine with you before visiting Theatre Royal. Food and service superb.
What more can one ask for.

Had an evening meal here with friends before going to the theatre. I have eaten here quite a bit in the past. It was good to see some new menu items and was impressed with the wide variety of dishes on the menu. We all had a sharing dish of bread and dips for starter and although very tasty there was a bit too much bread we thought. Those with hearty appetites may appreciate that though! I had the spinach and ricotta lasagne as my main meal, which was delicious and can thoroughly recommend it.
Service was good and although attentive the waitress was not obtrusive. The restaurant was really busy and staff seemed to cope very well. Altogether a lovely experience.

Six of us had a fabulous lunch before seeing the Kinks Sunny Afternoon matinee at the Royal Theatre Plymouth. My husband and I always like to have a selection of starters - we had calamari, tempura prawns, polpette and your new crab cakes. All were great. The rest of the group had pizza and chicken and all were very happy. With some very good soave we were in good form to head off to the theatre.
