The worst meal we have ever eaten, slow service and a chef that can't cook ! Disinterested manager. Overpriced for such small portions. Avoid if you want a good meal !

We went to this restaurant yesterday for a family celebration - a party of 5 adults and 2 young children. Although the food was OK the whole experience was unbelievable! We asked for the children's starters to be served with everyone's main meal as they were only having a bowl of dry pasta as their main. One of their starters was served in advance and the other, after two reminders, was served when everyone had finished eating the whole meal. Drink orders were repeatedly forgotten and we ended up going to the bar ourselves to order and collect them and the staff seemed very unaware of their menu and facilities. One completely incorrect meal was supplied resulting in one member of the party eating after everyone else had finished and it seemed that whatever we asked for was forgotten! And of course the bill had four incorrect items on it resulting in a substantial overcharge. Fortunately we were all in good humour and it didn't spoil our experience but we simply could not recommend it! Some pretty serious staff training is required!

We arrived for our 12md booking and waited at table. I had to ask a waitress for our drinks. After that the service improved. WE ordered our meal to be told one dish was unavailable and when we ordered desserts two were unavailable, which really doesn't seem good at the start of a lunchtime service. Go here quite often and this was not the best on Sunday.

The service was slow, waited over 20 mins for our drinks, my husband ordered steak and the waitress didn't ask how he wanted it cooked and it came medium/ rare so he couldn't eat it although when we told her she took it back to redo it. The food was nice though

Booked for 9 people with 2 of us in wheelchairs. Good table was reserved for us. Service was good but for 1 of us had to settle for our 3rd choice of meal as they had run out of choice 1&2.For,another had to settle for 2nd choice as had run out of 1st choice.
I had the chicken cacciatore( Italian special) Mine was very disappointing, overlooked, dry and tough, too many potatoes. My husband who had to have his second choice also said his chicken was dry and tough as part of his main course salad.
Overall I would say it was an adequate meal out, not special. The staff were very friendly polite and helpful.
Access for wheelchairs was good.Prrhaps turning up for a meal on Sunday evening is not to be recommended.

That was our last time at bella! The service is so slow despite hardly anyone in there for breakfast the food sat in the counter till it was cold and the coffee took ages to arrive. Dreadful experience and although we have given feedback several times and there being a new manager nothing has changed very disappointing.

The food was absolutely fine, however the service was awful. After waiting for approx. 15 minutes to be served our drinks we were constantly having to remind the waiters that our food was ready to be served. The excuse we received was that the restaurant was under new management and new waiting staff. This was our second visit to this restaurant, the first not being much better and unfortunately probably our last.

Food was good but although our food order was taken quickly, it took ages for each course to arrive. We were there for almost 3 hours with young children so just as well we thought to bring enough stuff to keep them occupied. Manager took £12 off the bill because of the wait.
