It was the first time we had been to Bella Italia, had a very enjoyable meal. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great choice of food and wine to accompany the meal. Will recommend to friends. Thanks

We arrive and were seated at the table promptly, so far so good. Our order was taken in good time. Starters arrived, looked lovely. Then it went wrong, the main cousre came out, my staek was lovely, cooked how I asked for it. The pizza my friend had look poor and uncut, not sure if this is how you serve it. One meal never arrived, a Lasagne, took a further 10 minutes to come out, in which time some of us were half way through our meals. The lasagne was 2cm thick, very poor value, tasted fine, but didn't look impressive. When ordering desserts I ordered ice cream, and twice the waitress returned to inform me that a flavour I ghad ordered was unavailable, and tiramisu ice cream which I ordered shouldn't have been on the menu. We order coffee with our desserts, which never came out, and we had to reorder, and then they forgot to bring them out, which I had to chase up. O another note, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere, and a good buzz about the place. I would recommend the place to a friend, but tell them not to go at the weekend, as they struggle on the service.

Very pleasant, friendly staff. Had to chase up on our drinks as they took ages to arrive.

Very friendly staff and the food was gorgeous. Service was spot on.
Only complaint was that my partner said that there was not much meat in his bolognese - however, I think this is the Italian way of preparing it?
The restaurant itself was laid out a bit like a canteen so not a place I would choose for a special occasion - which is a shame because the food was definitely up to standard, and the prices were occasion prices

Not very impressed .The starters were average for the cost. I enjoyed the main Course and it was worth the money, but the drinks were so expensive .Two glasses of wine and one and a half pints of lager cost around £20 which is not acceptable. The staff were very friendly but a bill of £73 for two people was far too expensive for that type of restaurant. Added to the £2 parking in the Quays it turned out to be an expensive Wednesday evening.

We had a very pleasant evening celebrating our grandsons birthday, we had different dishes between us but the beef stew is well worth a try.
