Terrible. We arrived to be informed they were short staffed in the kitchen and the wait for being served food would be at least 30 minutes. They had ceased taking bookings, but wanted to honour those who had previously booked. We didn't want to sit waiting on food for this length of time. I had another arrnagement that evening and wanted therefore had a time limit on my visit.

I was meeting up with friends. They lived over an hour away from Silver burn, and myself the same. Whey didn't a member of staff telephone ( I booked online, so they had my number) and warn us giving us the option to find somewhere else. Sorry- not happy and not acceptable. .

were there on Groupon deal so limited menu. I had bruschetta which was not great - no oil, very few tomatoes, all onions with limp lettuce. We had also waited 25 mins for starter. Rest of meal was ok but don't think I will be back. Staff were pleasant but probably understaffed.

Food was awful, waitress was extremely rude & refused to take the price of the meal from the total bill . Very unhappy customer

Food was good enough but service and whole dinning experience was horrendous. Staff very inexperienced when taking drinks orders. Main course arrived just as I was finishing starter and starter plates were left on table till end of meal!! No pepper or Parmesan cheese offered with pasta. Had voucher which we checked on arrival was accepted then at end of meal waitress said cant be used. After speaking to manager said was fine to accept but then bill was £10 over charged. Whole experience was most unenjoyable and would not return.

Food very good. Typical Italian restaurant. Freshly made lasagne and pizza bread.

    Food
Spag Bol - very tasty. Agnello - very dry (commented to waitress who replied "That's the way they have it in Italy, we serve it the same way".
Sweets - 5 shot glasses. Only had three different ones so it was 2,2 &1.
Service very poor. Drinks were prompt but took an age to come back for order. The sweets took so long to come we had 5 minutes to eat them as we had a concert to go to.
