The young man who served us was pleasant enough, however he cleared the table on every occasion before one of the three diners had finished eating! I had the gamberoni which was very bland and I left the bulk of it. My partner had the sea bass which i usually have and he said it was a little on the dry side whilst my mother in law had chicken and chips (again a little dry!). Other than that we shared a starter and enjoyed tirimasu. We frequently visit the one in manchester and were disappointed overall in Bolton as the food at bella Italia is usually good. I was given a coffee on the house as a gesture of good will following my uneaten main meal which was kind but I would rather have not paid for the meal. We would think twice before returning to this branch

Food was good. Place very busy. Welcome wasn't great - harassed waiter barked "have you booked?!" at us as soon as we walked through the door. However, our waiter was lovely.

Good service, friendly staff, good food.have booked a booth several times now but on arrival have never got one.i think if you book well in advance for a booth you should get one.I will go again but if my wishes are ignored I will not go again.

Disappointed in the seating arrangements considering there were 10 of us we had very little space between the next table, good job 5 of the party were children. No complaints regarding food everyone enjoyed everything, the service was a little slow and we had to wait a while between courses especially the deserts but overall we had a good night and would certainly return.

Utter Chaos! Hundreds of glasses on the bar. Garlic bread inedible as too salty. Would have sent back but they ran out of pizza bases - on a Sunday evening at 6.30pm? Having to turn people away as no pizzas (in an Italian restaurant?) Also minimal choice of gelato as again they had run out of all the popular choices ie chocolate/vanilla. Staff attentive but clearly short in numbers. Need to sort out their system for ordering in supplies especially given there is another Italian next door. The new decor for the restaurants resembles an American Diner rather than an Italian. Very canteeny.

Food is average but service is very poor, been several times however this will be the last. The staff are very slow and I use a gourmet card when I've dined here, however every time it takes more staff than required to see ifit can be applicable whilst looking over at the table and pointing. Very rude! Staff look like they dont even want to be there.
