We dined at The Bell on a Friday evening and, the restaurant was very busy. The menu choice and the quality of food was very good. The staff and their service was good and they were all polite and welcoming. We enjoyed our evening and will certainly come again. Well done all of you at The Bell.

Visit this pub fairly regularly. Service is always friendly and food generally good. This visit was really great, three courses and everything well cooked. Meat courses and steaks are well above what is expected at this level of dining. Keep up the good work!

Service was a little slow due to there being a party of 26 people who ordered before us but, when it came, the food was lovely and, at the end of the night, a 20% reduction had been given in recognition of the wait. They could not have done anymore.
Some of the dreadful reviews I've seen for the Bell seem unjustly harsh . Within our group of 8 there were orders for venison steak and beef steak both of which are easy to spoil and both were cooked really well. I would suggest people try it for themselves.

The staff were very polite and helpful. Our table was ready but it was a little cold in the conservatory so we were moved to a warmer area - lovely. The food was all very good except for the chips which were very overdone. Overall we had a good dining experience for a very reasonable price.
